I'm probably just being stupid but when is Dumbledore 126? In book 7 or now (2007)?

They never said in the book how old dumbledore was, but many used deduction with the dates that jk rowling did give to find out his age.

dumbledore born in 1851//dumbledore dies in 1997

[[I think my math was off. I guess its 146]]

Actually later on on the page of the link you posted shows Dumbledore's birth year as 1881. confused
