Ah, where to begin...
This movie KICKED a**!! Serious, edge-of-your-seat action the whole way through! New and inventive ways to kill people (just when you thought you'd seen it all!)

Excellent, top-notch acting, and the actors were perfect for the roles they were protraying: Seeing Clive Owen in this really shows how he was a sure runner up for being James Bond; Monica Bellucci's still got it; Paul Giamatti is just weird, psychotic and creepy.

My favorite scene involves Mr. Smith (Owen) jumping from a plane and killing 10-15 guys who follow him, while freefalling. That, and the way he rigs up a gun factory with their own guns to kill the guys looking for him.

The only downside: A few too many one-liners from Clive Owen. Other than that, simply amazing.

P.S. You'll never look at a carrot the same way again!

Overall Rating: 9 out of 10

I found the movie to be severely retarded, generally. I understood what the film was trying to do and I saw it an admirable effort. Grindhouse kicks the pants off it though as it had the key element; not strictly a parody but a homage. Shoot 'Em Up had too much of an "LOL ACTION FILM" mentality then it did an actual appreciation of action films.

I personally found it to be amusing in the "too many deaths to count" way.

Loved the carrots thing.

The sex scene was O__O "wow...hey Adam, do you think...you could do that?" LOL

Grindhouse was different. You can't really compare them. They're on different levels.
