i caught a gligar at route??? on pearl
and the the pokedex didnt locate it afterwards

go to mansion with trophy garden
talk to guy in1st room on right
answer all questions yes
might be mime jr, happiny, porygon, or eevee

So you are saying that after you caught gligar the pokedex did not register it as cought or did it say "AREA UNKNOW" when you went to gligar and looked at the map wair you could capture it. WEIRD?

If so thats the reason y
U could also cacth teddiursua and shuckle and more i think
