Talk about upcoming shows you are going to, or recent ones you've been to!
I'll get it started....
Last week I went to the Hollywood Bowl to see Underworld and Paul Oakenfold. It was actually the first concert I'd ever been to. Paul Oakenfold is a classic, and I didn't really know Underworld, but I knew one of their songs, and I'm pretty sure it's on the Trainspotting soundtrack, or in the movie at least.
As for upcoming shows...
The one I'm looking forward to the most is getting to see my favorite band Enon two nights in a row on November 2nd and 3rd. One night at the Glass House and another at the Echo. We may also try to go up to SF to see them at Bottom of the Hill on the 1st as well.
I also plan on going to the Detour Festival in Downtown LA on October 6th. It should be super fun!
I'm sure there are others ones that may pop up before these ones, but those are the main ones I know I'll be going to! smile

You know I have never heard Nine Inch Nails in my life, are they any good? Or in other words...do they live up to the hype?
---
There was this show this weekend consisting of local rap groups. One group was awesome, another blah, and yet another was eh...the awesome group was funny as hell though...they had this dude on stage for no apparent reason just flailing his arms around like a moron. I thought it had to be apart of the make a wish foundation...someone's mentally impaired brother who always wanted to be on stage or something.

We recently saw Smashing Pumpkins which was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I can't decide if it was better than the Foo Fighters/Weezer/Kaiser Chiefs show. They were both freaking amazing.

I went to a show this weekend for my friend birthday and she wanted to see the opening band. We missed them, but stayed. It was really bad though. Didn't know any of the bands, and what I heard was s**t. The headliner, Family Force 5, made me sick how much they sucked and how much of a joke they were. Talk about trying too hard to sell shitty albums to 12 year olds.
THANK GOD I DIDN'T PAY FOR MY TICKET. Some random person was giving two away, and I got one.
On a much more happier note, Tegan and Sara next Tuesday! I love them! heart
