I LOVE HEROES. LOL.
Seriously; I do. I don't get any TV channels at home, so I buy a lot of DVDS. I went and bought the season one box set of Heroes from Costco because I had heard good things about the show and it seemed up my ally of science fiction and comic book geekdom. I friggin' blazed through the season in a week and a half- holy snap does the Heroes production team have the art of the cliff hanger down! I'd be tryin' to go to bed and then I'd be utterly compelled to watch another episode.
And then I made this topic. biggrin
Obviously I'm addicted in love. Are you too? Then please for the love of God talk with me about Heroes, I've got no one!

I finally got through season one. You don't know how long that took me...I blazed through the first three disc pretty quick and then life caught up with me and bitched slapped me outside the head with some drama. I was determined to see the season before volume two though...so I sat my laptop in front of my TV and watched the rest of the discs non-stop while I worked. Just in case I'll be writing possible spoilers in white from now on; I'm kind of bummed...Isaac Mendez and Linderman are dead. Those were two of my favorite characters. I hope Fly Boy survived too, screw Peter it's all about Nathan damn it. Eh, at least we still have Bennet.
So, any theories about season two yet? Is Sylar going to become one of the good guys? Who is this new villain that is presumably worse then Sylar? Is Kensei immortal? And does anyone else want Micah dead?^new heros

On the Season One Final:
AGREED. I like Peter well enough, and I think he is a nice compassionate person, etc. but I love Nathan. Lawl. I like interesting people, and interesting people are always flawed. He's alive, he's in season 2 (actor Adrian Pasdar signed on for a second season opener at least). THANK GOD. I heart his face. He should play Mitchell Hundred in the Ex Machina movie. >:B
And isn't Kristine Bell (second woman from the left) going to be a kind of villain?

Gawd I love Sylar. I almost wish the writers never introduced his mother though, I like him to just be the way he is because that's how he is- not 'cause his seriously irritating mother was too overbearing on the prosect that her son was amazingly special. Its like they where saying she was "too Jewish" on him- WTF?
Anywho; uber excited over Season 2! I like Kristen Bell, never got to watch a lot of Veronica Mars but I enjoyed what I did get see. The twin brother and sister (last two on the right) have powers that interact with one another or something, like the Wonder Twins. I wonder what that'll be like...

I prefer to buy my DVDs, Books, Ect...but in the case of Television...it is being broadcasted with the intention of being watched by the general public. Does it really matter how the public comes to find said program? Another case when I will pirate is when I absolutly can not find the album I want. I try to buy as much as possible but if the album I want is super rare and unobtainable, I shall pirate.

Ratings is an average estimate of viewers based on a very limited amount of data collection units (not every TV/box is equipped). For every actually hit they get they guess as to how many millions of people are actually watching. If a few of those people happen to be online, I don't think they mind...and it's not like watching the show on your computer screws the network anymore then watching the recording. No one spends money on a TIVO or DVR to watch commercials. If you don't have cable, I see no problem with downloading a show. As long as you arn't redistributing of course. Now, pirating a PPV event...now that would be wrong...but an episode of Heros, is a conscious free offense. --- I think it comes on at 8 tonight, I'm going to get home like ten minutes before it starts.

Missed the first 5 munitues, but I'm feeling so much better for watching now. Spoiler that no one will mind me dropping: Parkman's lost some weight. He's looking good. Good for that guy.
Other spoilery stuff: Creepy kid watching Claire with the same powers as Nathan. Nathan and Peter live! I ******** WELL KNEW IT!!!! The Benett's were starting to seem dull and then we find out Mister Bennett's looking to take out his former employeers. ******** sweet! And the symbol. It's everywhere. took me a while to see it on Hiro's sword.
