General Note - I finally got around to making some custom headers from each section! GO ME!!1! I also added some dividers between the different pictures for a more user friendly appearance! And don't forget about the little heart footers to match the header design. ^o^
Also, I'm still thinking about opening an artshop... but it will most likely be in a different, unknown mule. Sorry guys. You won't know about it, unless you recognize my artwork. :/

General Note - About a week ago, I finally bought me some Copic Sketch Markers from a small, local art shop! So far, I've done a few test pictures with them (Including the "Sailor Uranus" fan art), which have come out pretty good! They blend very well and don't dry right away. It's very spiffy. I might buy a bigger set later. They're EXPENSIVE. $6 a pen. D; But I do enjoy them!
I'm also currently in the process of creating a small art shop. Not in the forums, but in one of my mule's journals. <3

Fan Art - "Sailor Uranus"

This was really a piece I did for funa while back. ; . ; Sadly, ex Haruka didn't like me drawing her with a fish head.... I thought it was cool at least.

I drew it first with pencil. Outlined with a Millenium .05 pen.







I used a fine point black "Zebra" brand pen (I think) to draw it. I think it came out pretty good for freehand, no pencil prior. I like the sketchy effect. :]

This picture took about 2 days to color using Paint Shop Pro 7. Maybe... 5 hours a day. 10 hours total, give or take.

I had the urge to draw Shampoo-chan as a Sailor Senshi, cause I'm a Sailor Moon geek. :B

I wanted it to be "Gaia" themed, though, which is why she is wearing Gaia items. The only thing not "Gaian" is her bow. It's the "The 4th Amigo Lucki Tie" which has red and white stripes. It would've taken too much work to do that, so I decided to just leave it plain red [I like it better that way anyway].

It has 16 layers. I wanted to seperate things so I could easily change colors when I wanted without having to worry about changing another item's color in the process. It was a pain making so many layers, but like I said before, it was well worth it.

Later, when I changed Shampoo's hair to black, I edited the picture to match her.

Her name is "Blade."

The story behind her is very simple. She has no character development yet.

Last year, I was bored and drew a character for each color (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Aqua, Peach, Gray, Black, Pink and Brown) and named them. She was "Black." Since she had a gothic look to her, I named her "Blade." >D

She has a similar appearance to another character of mine named "Samusa," who also has black hair and red eyes. I <3 Samusa.

Today, I had the urge to draw her for some reason. So I did. I've only drawn her twice before. One, a very generic stick-ish person, along with the other color characters. Two, a more "anime" looking version with the rest of the group as well.

I used thick paper from an artbook [No brand name], Millenium .05 and .01 fine point pens [Specialize in Scrapbooking, but I draw with them]. I colored in her eyes on Paint Shop Pro 7. I used a Tombow ABT Marker [N15 - Black] to color in all the black. I used a Tombow ABT Blender Marker to give her hair that shiny, watercolor effect. Any faded black came from an old Crayola black marker. I use it to shade sometimes, since it gives a softer, textured gray-black effect. :]

Only inked, no pencil. I don't like drawing with pencil, then inking, then erasing. It's too much work. I'd rather just draw it once [which is why a lot of my artwork has mistakes, but that's ok with me. I'm lazy]. After inking, I colored it.

Surprisingly, this turned out better than I had expected! She originally had a net shirt over that black tank-top/bra, but it looks good without it! I absolutely love how her hair turned out. The light, soft spikes with loose hairs gives it a nice realistic touch. I want to touch it. <<

In this drawing, I added a tattoo on her arm, which is supposed to resemble some kind of knife or blade. I also added a belly-button piercing which is pretty spiffy. If you were to see her ears, they'd probably have several piercings in each one.

Pretty much, if I gave her a personality, it would be bad a**. Embraces her femininity [Seen by the sports top she wears and her thong showing. Yeah, she wears thongs], yet has a masculine vibe about her. She's one tough woman, who can take on anyone. Aside from her tomboyish visage, she is elegant and sophisticated when need be. She has both a rough and gentle personality.

She also has the ability to be a vampiric character, but I'm no Anne Rice.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with her.





A pretty sad story behind this one.

A little girl named Judeth playing in the park. 10 years old. Alone. It's an overcast day, and the sun is starting to set. She suddenly notices a shadowy figure appear, watching her from a distance. It doesn't feel right.

She slides off the swing she spent hours sitting on, and knows that it's time to go home... But she doesn't make it home that night.

This picture isn't the main plot of the story [Thus the name "Memory" because it's merely a memory of one of the charaters]. It's a story I've actually been working on/developing since last year [along with a ba-gillion others]. It's a short series about the lives of 3 couples.

In the story of Judeth ["Jude"], her past defines a lot of who she is when she becomes an adult.

I used thick paper from an artbook [Same as "Blade"], Millenium .01 fine point pen. The faded black effect came from an old Crayola black marker, which I used to color the picture.

My favorite thing about this picture is how Jude is white [innocence] and her surroundings an eerie darkness [perversion].

I enjoy this song immensely. Plus, I'm a sucker for 80's music. The music video to this song can be found in my profile (for now). It's pretty much my homage to the amazing Kate Bush. O:

I started and completed the drawing at work (I have SO much free time at my job). Sketched with a mechanical and inked with Millenium .05 and .01 pens. Took a picture of it with my camera. Color added on Paint Shop Pro 7.

I really like this piece.
