I am Urbeth. I like to role-play a bit and I love ferns. 4laugh I am currently trying to create fern-ish items for avatars, but I don't work for GaiaOnline...I want to submit my ideas to them. There are so many angelic and demonic things...plants are underrepresented! But I don't think that it's their fault.

I also LOVE avatar art! So if you are artistic I would love to see you draw my avatar. Sometimes I award original character art in return. 3nodding

Hellos! I am phincari, but call me phin! (pronounced fin, the whole pronunciation is fin-car-e) I love plants. I have a definite green thumb, don't know how I became so good at growing plants. Sometimes, my plants actually grow faster than when other people grow them. I know for a fact plants loved being talked too, i believe that is what makes them grow faster. Also i read in a plant book plants breath what we breath out. we breath what they create oxygen. By breathing we are creating what they need to live. so by talking to them you are actually breathing on them which helps them grow because you are also giving it the type of air it needs. So ha! i am not crazy for talking to my plants! xD also, since they breath what we breath out if animals, and humans didn't exist plants wouldn't either, just like if the plants didn't exist we wouldn't.

Tum. I also like to name my plants they like that, but i think they get upset if you forget their name so i like to put name tags on the pots. I know it is weird but, would you like it if a person just called you girl or thing or whatever. I know i don't like it. too many people call me that at school. maybe I should wear a name tag...hmm...anyway. i plan to be active but if i am not it is because, i am talking to my plants again, or the trees. the trees tell me secrets...one time I was camping and i pretended to be an elf that can talk to trees. i asked it where some good fallen sticks were for marshmallows, because my brother kept saying lets rip one off a tree, and I am like no! anyway so I ask the tree, and I pretended it said like over there and looked to where I thought it was pointing to and saw some fallen dead sticks from the trees. I was like..OMG! what the..does this mean i can talk to plants. Then i am like. what else do you know. lolz

I'm afraid I don't know much in the way of scientifically catagorizing plants... I'm a cosmologist, my field of expertise lies in the stars... However... I do find that a most peaceful setting is taking care of my garden... And I find my fathers instant reaction to destroying good plant life because it's in the way demoralizing... Infact, I remember once he went to killing of a bush because he backed into it in his vehicle, and it gave off such a wretched stench I couldn't go outside...

I like plants to a degree of peaceful coexhistance, nature is nice.


Though I can do without algae, even if it does provide 90% of the oxygen on the planet...

jokes about classes... xd me and my friends had a running gag that was this complicated comparison of the lunch table to an atom. it was great. xd

i decided to join this guild because i love plants. i've always had plants of some sort (despite my mother's unintentional attempts to kill them) and am now restricted to what will fit into my dorm room. currently i have a pitcher plant, jade plant, two African violets, and a marjoram plant in my room and a hibiscus in the living room of the apartment.

my favorite plants are the weird ones: carnivorous plants, bromiliads, moss, cacti, succulents, etc. i'm also fond of mint plants and hibiscus.

i'm a biology major and have yet to take a botany class, mostly because i'm only a first semester sophomore and have focused more on marine biology classes. i intend to take a marine plant course and other plant related ones sometime in the future, though.

I'm known to many people as 10binary because of my extreme boolean algrebra addiction. Most of the time I talk about that because I can send
people my C programs and they can get them running.

Since this is a plant guild,I can tell you my favorite flower.
I like dandelions! There are many reasons

00. You can't kill them no matter what.
01. They grow quickly.
10. It's fun to kick the seeds off when they turn white.
11. While they are yellow,you can rub them against something to paint it yellow!

I used to go around planting them all over. People don't like them cause they take over their gardens,but my plan is to have a garden with all dandelions. Sadly,I don't own my own land and am not allowed to do anything here.

ANYHOO, I kill everything I touch. Rare is a plant that has stayed alive more than a week under my supervision. Despite this, I love plants. My favorites are daffodils, lillies, tulips, an' o'course, lovely bluebonnets. I think my absolute favorite is a red tulip. And I love, with all my heart, plum trees. When they're blooming, they look like they're covered in snow, something I rarely see. Lucky me, I have one in my backyard. =)
I don't like roses that much. They're pretty and smell nice, but way way way hyped up. I'd much prefer someone hand me some tulips.
And I like red leaves. =) That's plant me.
For general me, I like to write, play my cello/piano, draw, play video games, and look at picture books. Yes, picture books. I read novels a lot more, but glossy pictures win me over every day. There I am. =D
