Love it or hate it? Personally I really like it. I think it's definitely one of the best layouts Gaia has come up with in a LONG time, and it's a huge step up from the last one... Also, it has the world map incorporated again, (yay!) and it's not bright and OMG like some of the ones in the past... They're really trying their best to give the users what they want, and even if the current layout isn't the best, you have to at least respect it and the admins for those reasons.
So what's everyone think?

like I said on another thread, this new layout is of a similar origin of the original one, granted there are extra shortcut tools at the top

Yeah, it kinda is, now that you mention it. It's all, nice and simple, which is good. Good use of space, too.

I'm not a particular big fan out how the menus are dropped down based on where you hover your mouse. I prefer menus that drop down and lock when you click on them, and only open up another menu when you click on another one

I think the layout is okay. It is one of the better ones, because it's not so damn bright, and it doesn't kill my eyes to look at the screen when the lights are off.
I just don't like how it changes so much. I wish the mods would just settle on something. FER SHER. But that won't happen.

eh the only reason they change so much is because they've been testing since Gaia was opened for people to log on. I'm sure they'll get something right eventually... right?

I sold my letter so I could get a cloud. I wanted a cloud more then a dark dragon (even though both the light and dark dragons are seriously cool.)

I've noticed everytime i leave Gaia for a long period of time the layout changes and I'm with La'Gate on this one, its not too briooks more classy and sophistimacted.

My only real nag with the new layout is that it takes so long for the menu to drop down when you run your clicker over one of the links at the top of the page.

It could all be solved and made easier if it locked down and popped out if you clicked on it once, and clicked on the top again to close it (that or change the page by clicking a link)
