Occupation: College student, taking a year off.
How you discovered asexuality: Well I was in Highschool, and... I dunno how else to describe it but... while everyone elses hormones were going crazy and people were talking about boy/girlfriends, and sex. I had no interest in it. I didn't really know why... I guess I felt sort of odd and left out for awhile. I was also picked on at school a lot for being different. But I think around my senior year... maybe a little later I heard the word "asexual" and I had no idea what that meant, and I looked it up. When I first read it... I thought it sounded like me, and how I felt. But for some reason I didn't want to believe it. It's taken me a couple years to actually come to the conclusion that I am Asexual. And even longer to actually to admit it to people.
Every time I tell someone that I am asexual... I usually get the response "Well you just haven't found the right person yet." or "You know God made humans and it's natural for them to have sex, that's how he made us." and all that other stuff... you guys have probably heard it all.
On top of being asexual, I'm also aromantic. Which confuses even more people it seems. But oh well. I am who I am.
How you discovered this guild: I just searched for a guild based around asexuality. Because I wanted to meet others who are more accepting of this and talk to other people who get what it's like.
