OoC:// Sorry about that, I went away from Gaia for a while.
iC:// Skin like marble, beautiful hair, piercing green eyes. For the longest of time she couldn't look away from his face, so perfect in itself, if she had thought his eyes were beautiful, the rest of his face was amazing. She found herself almost frozen to the spot, though like the trained 'wolf she was, she shook it off like it was a wound. And it was, it was improper to gape and stare at someone. Lips met each other once more, jaw tightening to ensure they wouldn't leave each other like that again.
"Payne Benjamine Adams." She responded, tilting her head down for a fraction of a second. "Are you a moon walker?" She asked, if he was a lycan as she, he would understand what she was implying. She sniffed, his scent sending her mind spiralling, "No. You're not... Hm. You must be the enemy, then. Blood-drinker, yes?" She asked, tilting her head, curiosity in her eyes now. She'd never met a vampire before, so this was new to her.

Until then, Aidan had seemed merely amused. He soon came to realize that she was more inexperienced then he had thought, when she gazed at him so. His lips had slanted into a small sideways grin as he watched the awe in her face. It never got old, to see that look in someone meeting one such as himself for the first time.
However, when she called him a blood-drinker, his features changed. His beautiful green eyes suddenly became cold and hard and his face was grim, on the verge of anger but closer to silent outrage. "Yes." He said, his voice barely above a whisper but as smooth as silk and snide. "I am a vampire, if that's what you were so crudely implying." He continued to watch her carefully, becoming still as a statue again, except for his eyes, which followed her every movement like a cat.

Fang sniffed the air and said "Yeah,he has to be.The scent is familiar to me."He looked away from his eyes."Why are you here, hmm?"

Payne took her time studying his face, the expressions, that smile. She sucked it in like a sponge, casting her gaze now across his body, seeing obvious muscles. She damned the fact that the vampires didn't have to change in order to be at their full power. She found his figure as enchanting as his face, though she was sure now he was a blood-drinker.
When she cast her gaze up to his face again, she found his beautiful eyes had gone cold and hard, though she hadn't meant to offend him, it was what she had been taught. "I was not aiming to offend. While so close to the ones who walk among, we try not to use the regular terms. Blood-drinker could mean anything to them." Her tone had dropped to one that was way too low for any human to pick up, but she knew damn well he could hear it. "While in the prescense of those not like us, I use moonwalkers and blood-drinkers." She missed the beautiful state of his eyes, she looked around warily, "Are there others?" She asked, though shook her head. "Nevermind, come to where we can speak freely." She said, motioning towards her home.

Though Aidan hated to admit it, he could see her point. His eyes didn't exactly warm, but the deadly cold that had crept into them after her use of the term seemed to melt a bit to return to their original bright emerald. He nodded shortly, for the first time really looking at her as more than just the enemy. She could have been a vampire as well with that pale skin, but the scent and her actions were a dead giveaway. In different circumstances he might have even considered her beautiful. But she had chosen her path, and it made any form of friendship impossible to him.
He didn't mention that he rarely cared what the humans heard them say. It was careless, but it gave some more interest to his long life. Immortality could be spectacularly dull when kept secret. He followed her anyway, his footsteps utterly silent as they walked across the dry ground.

Payne almost smiled when she saw his eyes go back to normal, they were so beautiful like that, distracting but beautiful. She could see his eyes staring her over, which made her slightly uncomfortable and reminded her of the meeting she was supposed to be preparing for. Deep down, Payne knew she was going to get herself in trouble and knew as well that she would need to start cooking immediately if she wanted enough food for the pack to keep them from feeding off the townsfolk. Her kin could be so aggravating.
Another thought popped into her mind, how would she explain the scent of a vampire in her home to the council? That very thought made her nervous, and when she got nervous, she didn't control her 'wolf side very well. A thick-furred tail slid from the hem of her pants, only appearing for a mere instant before disappearing, fur sliding up and down her arms, leaving as fast as it came. Brow knit together and she concentrated, the fur and all signs of her 'wolven form stopping.

It would have been a lie if Aidan had said the sudden appearance of her fur and tail had not set him on edge. It startled him so much that he actually let a twig crack beneath his soft steps. Quickly regaining his composure, though, he took a deep breath of unnecessary air and followed with the usual silent grace. He kept his head high and proud, surveying the girl in front of him like a king to a peasant. He wasn't necessarily meaning to be so arrogant, that was just his way.
His thoughts turned to her house. Going into a lycan's home...He really must be losing his grip. And if any of the other members of his coven heard, he would most likely be a laughing stock. No matter. Anyone who dared mock him would pay the price. This brought an eery grin to his face, but it didn't last long as he saw the house he'd been watching earlier loom up before him.
