As many others have said
Pocahontas is a princess because she is the chief's daughter, there is no question there. Wendy is not a princess, she is one of the disney heroines. along with Esmerelda, however she is the princess of the gypsies.
Mulan in my eyes is not princess she is yet another heroine, she never married a prince she just has a high ranking in the empire. Meg is not a princess but she did marry a god which again puts her at the top.
Nala is a princess and again queen. And by the way CaspienMira...in regaurds to your incest comment...you have to keep in mind they are animals. *laughs* And animals have no concept of incest, they just care about mating and reproducing.
And as someone else has brought up you cant forget about Jane and Melody and Kiara (simba and nala's daughter). They are all "princesses". Melody and Kiara are true princess considering they are born into royalty and Jane because she marries Tarzan, the king of the jungle.
However Tink and Alice are no where near princess. I dont even think I would really consider Alice a heroine. She is just a main character who had her own story to tell...basically that she has a MASSIVE imagination.
However they are all amazing women and should never be forgotten. They all did a wonderful job in their own stories.

l3roken5oul Well, we all know that Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Snow White are considered the six DIsney Princesses but what about all that other Disney female characters? Aren't they Princesses too? What do you think?
Non-Princesses
Pocohontas Alice in Wonderland Wendy (Peter Pan) Mulan Esmerelda (The Hunchback of Notre Dam) Tinkerbell Megara (Hercules) Nala ( The Lion King) Mulan and Pocahontas are both official Disney Princesses, but the others are not. If you check the Disney Princesses website, they are princesses, they are just not as widely advertised as the others.

Pocahontas is a princess, and Nala is royalty. Out of all those girls named, I would only view Meg and Mulan as Princesses.

I think that some of these are heroines, and sub princesses Pocohontas Princess < She is the daughter of an Indian Chief that counts as royalty Alice in Wonderland < I guess she's a heroine. I mean no one saves her she saves herself Wendy (Peter Pan) < As much as I love Wendy she's just a Disney girl and that's about it Mulan < for sure she's a heroine Esmerelda (The Hunchback of Notre Dam) Tinkerbell < also a heroine Megara (Hercules) Nala ( The Lion King) < A disney female animal? You forgot about: Maid Marian (Robin Hood) < Royalty she's def a princess Melody (Little Mermaid II) < Also Royalty so she should be a Princess Princess Kida (Atlantis) < That speaks for itself Jane (Tarzan) < I guess she's kinda like a heroine? Giselle (Enchanted) < I personally didn't like her but she kinda counts as a Heroine. She never married Prince edward so she's not a princess Did I miss anyone?

I think that Pocohantas is a princess because she is a chief's daughter. None of the others really count as princesses, although you can argue that Nala is a queen now that she has married Simba. (Is married really the best phrase?). Mulan, Esmarelda, Wendy, and Alice are Disney heoines, but I think that Tinkerbell and Meg are just Disney girls.

Meg was a princess, because she married Hercules. Who was Hercules? The son of Zeus. And who was Zeus? A KING. 3nodding (Of the gods, to be exact. xd )

of that list, I'd include Mulan & Pocahontas
Why, you ask? I go by the Official Disney lineup for Disney Princess. Check out the site & you'll see 8 princesses: Ariel, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, Mulan, & Pocahontas. Imo, those are the only Disney Princesses (until Tiana & Rapunzel get added, at least)

Non-Princesses
Pocohontas Alice in Wonderland Wendy (Peter Pan) Mulan Esmerelda (The Hunchback of Notre Dam) Tinkerbell Megara (Hercules) Nala ( The Lion King) Technically Pocahontas and Mulan are considered princesses currently (according to wiki), but are not on all merchandise. Tinkerbell, Megara, and Esmeralda were each once considered princesses, but they have been discontinued form the club as they don't fulfill the 'princess mythos' Wendy and Nala were never considered Disney Princesses.
