Let me start off by saying you are one of my favorite teachers. Even though you're always on the touchy side, and seem all dark and gloomy, I still love you. You're a very brilliant man, who, I'm sure, has had a rather hard time of things.

After saying that, I will continue to say that I have a decent-sized crush on you and have had said crush since my first year at Hogwarts. You aren't outright handsome, such as Lockhart or Krum, but instead you are something much better. I enjoy looking upon your face in class and listening to your silky smooth voice rattle off potions ingredients. You are one attractive package.

Here is where I ask a personal question: if I were to come to you with a date proposal, would you consider? Or would you push me away without another thought? I'm sure you have loved someone in the past; everyone has at one time or another. Thus I am taking a huge leap by assuming you might be able to find love once again.

I cannot express how thankful I am. Everything has been going smoothly now. They seem to have forgotten about everything. Please accept this book as another token of my appreciation. It's not much, but it's a very good read when you have some time.

As you can see, my owl is feeling quite better now. I returned the other owl to it's previous owner a few days ago. He didn't seem very thrilled to be getting the owl back.
