(For lack of a better place..) My problem is is that i wanna make a staffshipping (Sir AaronXLucario) fanfic, but I've run inot a few problems. the first is this:
Should I set it before Lucario is sealed in the staff? Or should it be after, and have them revived somehow sometime after Ash and co. saved the Tree of Beginning?
My secound problem would be characters. If I have Aaron and Lucario 'revived' (cause many people think they are both dead) then they would run into lots of trainers, new characters, ect. And Im honestly not that creative with new characters. Same problem goes for if it's before Lucario is sealed, becouse who would they have know? Would they have any family or other friends? Or did they only talk to Lady Rin (or was it lady rem? I cant remember right now) All help would be appreacated. I'll except characters after a vote is done and I know which time frame I'm going to use.

I would go with before (only because I think Riley from Pokemon D/P is Aaron's Reincarnation blaugh ) I think that it would be a bit easier to work out a fanfic that occured in the past anyways.
It would make sense that Aaron would have a family but after all- he served the castle so it is likely that he has not been able to see them for quite a long time. You also don't have to make a bunch of awesome OC's because aside from thir time in the castle they were out on their own training. Can they meet a person out there? Of course, and it would be interesting to see.
A fanfic were they are revived and does not involve reincarnation of some sort and they just sort of "rise from the dead" is really hard to pull off well and is really kind of cheesey. =P

I know. But in the english adaption, they didnt really 'die' so it may be easier to pull off then some might think. I would still need characters, no matter what time frame it is, becouse, even out on training, they had to return to the castle sometime right?

And they can still be in the castle, yet still have it centered around them (and the queen)

doesnt matter if I have it centered around them, they still have to come into contact with people other than the queen (the world didnt consist of just two people at that time)

I any case, the other people there would either be a knight or a servent. (Neither of which I think require much of a personality in my opinion)

i think it be interesting for the future setting but i like Riley and Lucario best. so i wouldnt care.by the way i like your idea of doing this XD

I think it would be alot esier for you if you set it in the past then in the future because then you have to come up for a reason for how they were revived and everything
