Talak nodded and lead them back to the den. The sun was fadeing and it shined off the wind buffet rocks. Most couldnt find the den entrance without knowing were it was. He stepped around one rock and into another then there was a hole. Blocked away from on one side from wind. The other shown right at the sun, to warm the packs den during the day.

Saska sat cold and lonly, he sat up, giving a long harmonic howl the the emptieness arround him.
Nyghtsky, hearing her brothers call, She sat of were she stood, returning his call. Placing her head up and held high, she let a long gracful, high pitched howl that echoed over and over, then a small whimper like howl to show she missed him also. Again long long harmoinoc piece. Then she waited for his nex move.

Venom stopped and looked over her shoulder. The two had only been separated for a matter of moments, and already they were calling to each other? She rolled her eyes coldly. She wasn't capable of understanding how they felt. As the fea fell silent she said evenly, "You should go inside and rest Saska." She motioned to the entrance with her snout. Not looking directly at the new comer she added, "I can go get you some food if you want." The new fea made her edgy. Maybe it was just because she herself was fairly new.

Talak looked at Venom with something else in his eyes. "No Venom. I will hunt for you both." he got closer to her and whispered in her ear. "Let someone take care of you for once. You dont have to like it, but i would enjoy doing that for you."

Venom stared at him silently for a few moments, finally she gave small nod and walked away. She nudged Saska as she walked by. Then she slipped into the den. With slight surprise she realized that this was the first time she had actually entered the den. Last time Venom had slept outside the den. It almost seemed to make it official. Talak had caught her for good.

Saska stands up, then lowers it under Venom. "If I can pay back the respect I owe to you, Would you like me to hunt, well, I can hunt for NyghtSky... and, I'm sorry for the disrespect, It's not like me, I promise." He waited for Talak's response He wanted to pay back what he owed to him, but didn't want to push him either. It was just wrong.
NyghtSky walked to the back of the den, Looking at Venom, "I'm sorry about Saska, What he did, It isn't like him," She said mostly scared.

Venom glanced at Saska then she just flicked her tail and disappeared into the shadows. She heard paw steeps following her so when she laid down she saw NyghtSky had followed her. Perhaps Talak had made it through the icy maze to her heart... but it would take these new wolves a long time to get anywhere close. "He will get what he deserves." Was all she said, her voice cold. Venom laid her head on her paws and closed her blood red eyes. She hadn't noticed that being in the cold Arctic water had washed away a lot of the red in her markings. They had faded to a very faint red pattern on her white fur.

NyghtSky sighed, She didn't mean to be pushing it. Maybe the fea wolf was more rude than she had thought her to be anyway. She didn't understand, she was trying to be friendly, then given off by some sassy, cold tone. NyghtSky tried to forget it, but it kept kicking her, telling her to say something, like when you woke up from a bad dream and you try to forget it, but its all you can think of. It made Nyghtsky itch herself on her head, every little gust of wind irritated her.

Venom laid there, still as a statue. As her fur dried it spiked, making her look even meaner and wilder. She shivered as the cold arctic air air hit her drying fur and skin. Venom gritted her teeth against the cold as her mind was flooded with memories. The cold stone rooms... the freezing ocean spray... the throbbing pain of a new wound.... Venom shuddered, this time not from the cold.

Talak shook his head at Saska. "No. It is a step in the right direction, but I am a wolf of other theories. I will not be persueded to let you hunt our food. I need to take care of my own. That is what I shall do. You may eat with us. But tonight, I hunt alone."
Lucien grinned at Talak. "Just a while back that wolf was nothing more than a pup Venom. Today, he is a wolf. He has everything to owe you for opening his eyes to greater worlds." She said with a slight smug look. The wolf felt old. She was alone. Riley had been gone for a long while. Her reign was over. But she still would linger.
