I've been listening to the new Broken Social Scene album a lot this week.
Mostly because it just came out this week.
And because I'm a poor college student who's strapped for cash, so I don't get a whole lot of new music.
(This one was a gift.)
It's pretty much amazing. My favorite (as of right now) is "Lucky Ones."
And I love the album cover.

Was listening to the New Pornographers. Went to their concert a while ago, guess I just wanted that nostalgic feeling.

Iron & Wine, The Shepherd's Dog
Did Beam just create a classic? He just brought storytelling to a whole new wonder. Tender and beauty in a upbeat tribal rhythm. Beam really went much deeper for this album and I have to say it's his best work yet; definitely going for the lead as my favourite album of the year. It's been a week of the most wonderful of all shepherd dogs.

Anything of Beirut as always.
And a lot of A Hawk and a Hacksaw,
although recently Ive been listenning to a lot of Final Fantasy.
And recently Ive come to really like Crystal Castles.

I really like Crystal Castles as well, whoever posted that as their music of choice. I've been feeling really funky lately so it's been a lot of Jonathan Richman and a lil bit of Os Mutantes. I know thats more psychedelic and post-punk for you genre nazis. But I'll hope you'll forgive me.
