anyone evr read a manga and find it was was almost exactly copied by another. an example being the mainstream manga Naruto seems to have copied a few key ideas from HunterxHunter ex. of ex. ELemental and or type of nen test

Of course. I read Happy Hustle High (Rie Takada), and then read The Gentlemens Alliance. I believe they came out around the same time however (TGA- late 2003, H3- early 2004), so maybe they traded scripts?

Naruto seems to take a lot from other older anime/mangas...and it seems cheaper on that show for some reason...But originallity really influences my choice in reading manga, so for the most part, the manga I read is pretty different. (from each other)

The first thing they tought us in writing class is that there is basically only 2 stories to write so originality isn't that easy to come by. Still manga is so character driven that it's that combination of spunk/witty/fun/etc. personality that makes series like Naruto stand out. I adore Naruto beasue he's such a strong character! xd

I actually find the character naruto a bit on the weaker side.. but then when it comes to anime and manga the series is just not that interesting to me. Its a bit dry and some what repetitive.

D: I found "My Heavenly Hockey Club" and "Ouran High School Host Club" to be extremely similar. I believe Ouran came out first, but I prefer Hockey Club. >.>

I find that most mecha themed mangas are the same sweatdrop
sakura taisen ,patlabor ,escaflowne ,gundam etc ... or maybe thats because i dont really like mecha mangas xd
and tenchi muyo kinda reminds me of love hina ( a bunch of girls ,one boy )
