To state the obvious, I'm new to this guild, but I'm not new to RP'ing and cyberpunk and/or sci-fi is a genre I've got a real interest in.
I'm just getting around to developing a character and getting into the system you peeps have developed for this RP.
Some questions from a n00b, then:
-Can someone give me a primer on the factions, or show me to a thread that does that?
-How what I
do to the setting? For example, can I create 'baddie' NPC's to be battled against, introduce new scenario's etc, or is that beyond general PC's?
-Anything I should know before I get going? Such as, what the limits of movement are within the world, events that have happened in the setting that I should be aware of etc?
as a general rule, try not to make yourself overly powerful, give yourself plenty of quirks and personality flaws, and other than that I'm not sure what to advise.
If you want to introduce a storyline, or a big npc baddie, I would suggest you run it past tinfoiler to make sure it doesn't interfere with anything he has planned. Smaller baddies are a dime a dozen, so go with as many as you want, just don't make yoursewlf out to be the unstopable terminator... I mean my second story arc I made had my character being hunted down by a gang of chromers...
