LAura smiled a bit and nodded, grabbing his closest hand, and holding it tightly. "Its good...What happened to my dog? Is she okay?" She asked softly, her eyes glued to the ceiling.

"Yeah she is doing ok she should be fine in a week or two.... They have to keep her for observation after her surgeries." He said with a smile

Laura smiled up at the ceiling when she was told her beloveed pet would be okay. "And how are you holding up?" She asked softly, her hand squeezing his own lightly. She knew this was hard for him, to see her in this amount of pain. He was just sensitive like that.

Vander smiled at the thought that she was worried about him when she was in that much pain. "I will be fine as soon as you are better." He said as a single tear ran down his cheek.

Laura nodded slowly, and kissed the hand she brought to her lips. "I'll be okay, just please don't leave me alone. I'm afraid of being alone." Her voice was small and sounded tired. After all that had happened she needed more rest. "Good night, I'm going to rest now." She muttered, laying her companions hand on her tummy, before her eyes shut and she fell into sleep.

Vander smiled and watched her sleep. He was very glad that she was sleeping and most likely in no pain in he sleep. He laid his head down on the side of the bed and fell asleep as well.
