I'm most excited for Sasha Baron Cohen(sp?) playing Pirellie then anything else. I've heard him sing 'The Contest' and I can't understand a word he's saying but it sounds cool.

WELL
I guess I approve. It could've been a lot worse. Helena and Johnny's singing really killed me (especially hers), but Rickman was awesome, as was Cohen.
Why the heck was Kiss Me not in the film?! That makes me a very angry panda. >(

I guess I approve. It could've been a lot worse. Helena and Johnny's singing really killed me (especially hers), but Rickman was awesome, as was Cohen.
Why the heck was Kiss Me not in the film?! That makes me a very angry panda. >( I was angry that it wasn't going to be in the film... until I heard Johanna's voice. So annoying!

i absolutely LOVE Sweeney Todd. It's a magnificent show. Im a little afraid to see the movie though...guess cuz im hoping the movie will live up to the staged version of the show. smile Im definately gonna see the movie though. !XD XD

Im a HUGE fan of the show. The stage version is brilliant..i just hope the movie that's coming out does the staged show justice. smile

*drools* I just saw the version that came to Chicago...it was so cool! The actors were the instrumentalists as well and they all played their instruments on stage when they weren't acting. And Judy Kaye is so amazing as Mrs. Lovett!

Stage Show is brilliant.
Movie, not nearly as good, even though I love Johnny and Helena as actors and Burton as a director, they can't do musicals.
