i liked this book.
i got into it quickly.
and i think it was my favorite of the year.

I pretty much liked all the books we read this year. I probably liked Tale of Two Cities best though.

i disliked that book very much.
it was hard to understand for me.
and it didnt click right away.
i couldnt relate to anyone in anyway.
i was not interested.
so i slept....^_^;;

I finished Night like 3 days before everyone else, so I looked at childhood pictures of Anne Frank.

I would have finished Night before everyone else, but Ms. Coles had us read in class chapter by chapter. If she had let me take it home, I probably would've finished it it one evening...It was only, like, 94 pages long, or something like that.

we read it chapter by chapter too. And OUT LOUD. 10th graders shouldn't need to read out loud! so I just read a head of everybody, tried to pay attention where everyone was if we were playing popcorn.

And then I reread the ending twice because Mrs. Johnson told me that there was caniballism in it but I couldn't find it and then she said nevermind it was a different book.

i finished a week before everyone in my class.
cuz with coles we goof off alot.
but me.. i ignore it and stay on task most of the time.

I liked this book but I was disapointed. The way everyone raves about it I had expected more. Then again, maybe I'm just a cold-hearted freek. I have been told thet. But I thought how close the book brough us to the Holocauste((sp?)) was awesome. I was stunned. I have a bunch of random facts on that era (or whatever you want to call it) but that stuff was so much deeper. And personal. Then I also read Anne Frank's Diary and a book calle Pebble in the pond or something like that. I was on a roll with those type of books.
