sweatdrop I will, because i'd hate to suggest that you were intentionally decieving us, presume that you were opperating under the assumption that everyone apparently dismisses obvious clues when no more solid corroborating evidence is available.
Now, let's say that there was an on online forum that was exclussively for people who own Cats and Dogs, now one doesn't have to discuss matters relavant to either, but members must meet the needed mandate of ownership to gain admittance.
Now, User "Show-Koo-Shoe" never suggests that they have a cat or a dog in post or dialogue, nor do they post in "dogs only" or "Cats only" threads, however they only choose the dog owner's personal icons.
Which, do you suppose, people would figure they own?

you would dismiss the personal icon in favor of making no assumptions until they said explicitly one way or the other.
But you can see how someone might go ahead and make that leap, ne?
