Ah, Water Polo, It's a shame I'm not so Good.

I only started playing two years ago. Being the not-so-athletic-but-still-tries-hard-anyway guy I am, it's pretty humiliating when we're never in the state finals, especially when we work harder than most of the other teams, and happen to be better swimmers.

Oh well, in regards, west coast water polo blows mid-west out of the water, so even if I was good as a player in retrospect to Illinois, I still wouldn't even remotly match up to the California players that have been doing it since age 8.

The same applies to swimming. Illinois hasn't sent a swimmer to the olympics in a very long time, let alone the midwest, and I'm certainly not even going to qualify for preliminaries, maybe not even nationals this year. The talent that the East and West coast pumps out in comparison to us, we don't even compare.

It wasn't my dream to be an all-star player of course, never was and probably won't be in my life. I just do it because I happen to have skill in the water most people from the midwest don't have.

I think water polo is the 2nd greatest(next to swimming) sport in the world. its like europian godge ball but in the water, and the fact thats in the water makes me even more in love with it. But my team is ok though... and im also so pissed off that my school dosnt have a waterpolo team, i would most likely to be picked captin of the Pickering High Trojains... oh well! cry

I was the player you'd send in in a moment of desperation. I'm really good at playing off difficult moves, especially turns, and I am the best at getting people kicked out. I didn't score a lot, but I kept a lot of people from scoring.

I love playing, but I love coaching more.

i play water polo too! i just love it!!!..........it is my favorite team sport of all times!!!! i am JV goalie. i played field once.....and that was when the alternate goalie needed practice in a game so i played frosh/soph game

i played waterpolo in high school and we were undefeated for 4 years.,.,. not one losss

WP rocks! its so fun! it annoys me ((since im a girl)) that ppl think im a brute, but i'd rather be a water polo playing brute than a snob any day! heart te funniset thing happened at our guy's game! the goalie came out of the cage n got himself ejected so the ENTIRE field players came to the goal and stuck their arms up! haha! it was the first time i ever saw THAT happen!
