Not as often as people seem to think. (CardCaptor Sakura had a very happy ending, so did Chobits, and Angelic Layer. The second Magic Knight Rayearth had a happy ending too I'd say.
I haven't read any of these, but I've read that they have happy endings as well: Man of Many Faces (Definitely) and CLAMP School Detectives (I think...)
The ones that definitely don't have happy endings would include Tokyo Babylon and...that's pretty much it. The first Magic Knight Rayearth is pretty sad too...but since ultimately in the second series it's happy...I'm not really sure.
The ones with bittersweet endings (meaning ultimately happy, but also sort of bad) would probably include RG Veda (where I've heard a lot of characters die, but the two main ones end up happy) and Wish (where a character dies, but is reincarnated or something like that).
I have no idea about Suki, Dakara Suki. The rest of the series are unfinished, so it's hard to say if they have happy endings. X probably won't get one though. Clover might not have one either (I never read it, but people say it can be sad).)
So really...CLAMP stories always have sadness in them, but most of them have happy endings...or no ending at all. CLAMP has also stated that Tsubasa Chronicle will have a happy ending...except for one character. But CLAMP's version of a happy ending is different from most people's I'd say...so who really knows. Ah...I should probably white most of this out...

Ahh....all I know is that CLAMP likes to switch things up just when people think they got everything figured out...and there is also a lot of foreshadowing that you don't understand till the end. ::Which is why I want to know Watanuki's role in it all!!! What is he going to do that he shouldn't disappear other than the obvious change the future bit? And I want to know Yuuko's wish though I know that I am most likely never going to find out.::

Well about Watanuki there's a (relatively) new theory floating around the internet these days. I'm not sure if it's true, but it's interesting.
(The theory is that Watanuki is somehow holding or protecting what is cSyaoran's heart. Although people aren't exactly sure how it works...it is an interesting theory. Because Watanuki was born on April 1st, people say that his birthday like...corresponded with Sakura's birthday which they showed in the manga (the day cSyaoran sort of got a heart). There's a whole bunch of other things that people keep brining up. But I thought it would be interesting to mention.
Oh, but I'll mention this part of the theory too. That because Sakura by saying all that, "I'll remember stuff for you" thing, is that cSyaoran's heart is from part of Sakura's heart and because of that Watanuki can see ghosts because Sakura can.
I don't think any of it will actually turn out to be true...but it's another one of those things, that is interesting because it offers possibilities...honestly though, I think it's impossible to guess how things will turn out.)

OMG! Has anyone else read chapter 179 yet? It was so sad and so unfair~! She finally gets her feeling across and *poof* no more! I mean I didn't cry (I usually only cry for anime...it's harder to cry for a manga) but it's just way too sad. I want a redo man! Shove in some clone fluff before that scene!

Anyways, now I'm wondering when Kurogane's clone/twin will appear...because everyone else has one. >_>

(Oh no about Kurogane's clone/twin that's already been resolved. His dad looks just like him so it's all good. He has a look-alike too. Everyone in Tsubasa has a clone of some sort...I had forgotten momentariyl, but Mokona did too.
But now I wonder what I'm going to read Tsubasa for...I absolutley love Sakura in Tsubasa (especially with cSyaoran) but now I guess she's gone. The other Sakura has only appeared in flashbacks and in this first chapter...it took me so long to get used to rSyaoran now I have to do it again~!
But cSyaoran is pissed. I don't know if he got his heart back...but he at least has some feelings. Did you see how upset he got when Sakura disappeared. He was in shock then he just screamed. He disappeared when Kyle did so I think he's back where Fei Wang is...*sigh* Since the others aren't there yet I don't think he'll be able to kill the b*****d (that fight needs to be a really big one with everyone there) so I wonder if cSyaoran is going to disappear next. So unfair. I like the clones better.)

Lately Tsubasa Chronicles has been losing me in the story line. I think I should pay more attention to the flashbacks since it is undoubtedly important, but I sort of wish they'd get back to Kurogane and the others.
:: And I've been wondering this for a while, but Sakura's dad is the same as the dad of cSyaoran...so is the country that rSakura from and rSyaoran visited the same or different from the country that cSyaoran and cSakura were from? ::
On another note, xxxHolic has been losing me plot-wise too. I guess I just get confused too easilly...

Anyone up to date on the manga??? ::It's finally the battle between rSyaoran and cSyaoran!!! OMG. And a lot of mysteries and the like have already been resolved. Is the manga coming to an end soon??::

I read tsubasa up to volume 11...i'm behind crying
anyway, i love all the characters! espicially mokona cuz its so cute! and kurogane because he's just hilarious xD
