Kari had only moved through two intersections when she heard Bill over the com, "There coming up fast, I need some help!"
Kari responded, "I on my way," just as Bob called in his support as well.
She began running down the road, barely taking a second to check corners before moving on.
Suddenly the GM appears on the road ahead, but he runs right across the street, apparently not noticing her. She starts running faster, hoping to get behind him, when suddenly a bright beam rifle round blasts down the street Kari is about to cross, and Bill screams over the Com.
Kari, despite trying to stop, is propelled into the street by her momentum. She immediatly turns, firing her machine gun at the Gundam, which was barely a dozen meters away, the beam rifle still visibly hot. She decides to use the momentum she still had to keep moving down the street and put some cover between her and that beam rifle.
Unfortunately, the Gundam has other ideas. Kari sees his shield arm reach down for the leg mounted beam sword before she goes around the corner, and Kari again wishes she had a heat hawk. Damn supply problems.
The Gundam charges around the corner, holding the small shield over the torso. Kari backpedels away and fires her machine gun, but the Gundam closes in, the shield taking the brunt of the damage. In a moment of inspiration, Kari lowers her weapon, but continues firing. The 105 rounds tear into the left leg of the Gundam, and she watches it fall before her.
