I like X Japan because they sound awsome! I especially love that they incorperate metal and intrument together, sometimes apart. Also, they look awsome! Hmm, I just like that there was a band that I can listen over and over. Plus they're Japanese so that's a real plus! ^__^;

I like them when they're live. I saw Blue Blood and Dahila DVD, and I must say, they're awsome.

I think I go for the ballads more than the hardcore stuff, but damn, just watching them be retarded onstage and in the Celebration PV just cracks me up.

And about the hide museum I believe they shut it down, yes?

I can't pinpoint it, but I just love their sound. That layered, rich, rock sound. In my opinion, it's unique to X's music and I just love it. Even tho I haven't listened to them for a really long time. sweatdrop

I think Yoshiki's a brilliant, brlliant man - he does sexy as hell orchestral and piano arrangements but I too don't really like the whole extreme 80s-rock-ness and even though Toshi's voice is quite well-suited so most of thier songs, I think that it doesn't really mesh well with some of the ballads.


Hehehe. Sammirah, sorry to burst your bubble, but that "layered, rich rock sound" can be achived really easily in a studio. It's really just turning the bass on all the instruments and finetuning the attack on them so they sound clean.

Don't be stupid. Do you REALLY think Japan had NO mainstream rock genre until the 1980's? DON'T BE STUPID.
