A Life Unlived
The hands of innocence are trembling, Accursed words of regret are mumbling.
A flash of light… everything’s fine, A step before the problem, perhaps even time. Words of hate were thrown due to fear. Loudly, they echoed whenever They were near.
In the day he just sits there to weep, Crying in bed until he falls fast asleep. He dreams of his death, sadness and sorrow, And the guilt in his heart, forever he will swallow.
A worthless body filled without love, Raindrops pour from the darkened sky above. He’s all alone in this world of hate, Awaiting the end of his life as his blessed fate.
Broken glass shattered on the wooden floor. I ask myself – “What was this life even for?” Tainted teardrops trickle down, The expression on my face turned from a frown.
The hands with innocence stained lie still, Another life ends with a painful shrill.
Sorry, I just noticed I left part of it off. sweatdrop

Good job! But that change in tense really messed me up. On the last verse that is. But if that was on purpose very good job! Love it! heart
