I did preorder and then found out, after it didn't come out, that there's a special edition 2-disc set. "Hellz yeah!" I said. I'm going to see if I can put down the $5 reserve fee for the Collector's Edition instead. 3nodding

Well, I've picked up the Special Edition DVD...the english version is all right, maybe Adult Swim worthy...maybe. The male vocals are good but Balalaika and Revy's vocals are sub par. Revy sounds like a teenage brat (FYI she voiced one of them in a BRATZ movie... xp ) I haven't taken a look at the extras yet but the case it comes in is awesome. Its metal, has both of the Sword Cutlass on the front with the Black Lagoon Logo in the middle and it has room enough of all 3 of the DVDs. That's right. 3 DVDS!!! Less money for more episodes on fewer disks! 4 episodes a disk. "Amen. Hallelujah. Peanut Butter."
I'll post a pic of the Box eventually.

Sounds great! I want to see the case that I think it's not available in japanese version of DVD.
I hope Black Lagoon appears in adult swim sooner or later.

The only real problem I could find with the dub myself is Balaika accient seems to turn on and off. Revy's not as edgy as i'd like, but over all I'm happy with it. Also, figured you guys would get a kick outta this http://www.myspace.com/lagoonrevy
