STORY SUMMARY:

Chap One – Sita Talon-Claw is a duchess with an illegal relationship with the baby prince’s keeper, Liam. She looks down on 12 dudes in some place. One is a jerk and named Ockham. She has a daughter – Orill Talon-Claw. Orill is the leader of the City Shields – unheard of, since she is female. Some chick named August – a messenger – has gone missing. Someone has to find her and her message. Civil war is looming – lots of riots and stuff.

Chap Two – Nicholas Delta, son of Green-Palm, joins The Circle. He is branded on his hip with “Lucidorus”. He is going to the Capitol to be a spy for the Circle, using his noble lineage as a cover. But he has to avoid the Collectors.

The Collectors have an obvious symbol they wear proudly tattooed: The Collectors' symbol was something different all together -- a ring of small black circles around a sword with a pentacle in the hilt; if one looked closely enough one could see the the black circles were, in fact, not circles at all but many different types of flowers, with the sacred rose at the top of the circle.

A girl named Elena loves him and doesn’t want him to go.

Chap 3 – Sita and Liam’s POV. The baby prince is getting sick again. Sita suspects either the Lucidorus or the all-female cult - the Lysinda Circle. Liam has a mysterious past and he knows what evil the Lucidorus Circle can do. He hopes to find a lost prophecy that might help.

Chap 4 – a Collector dude named Yaksha is married to a middle-aged chick who can turn into a rabbit. She game him a powerful magic scroll… yet it said “Yaksha is doomed”… the scroll tries to kill him but the rabbit wife stops it…

Nick reached his destination but was knocked out by Elena who tried to stab him with a needle but stabbed herself instead, knocking herself out. Then Nick got startled and he dragged Elena away to a cave. The cave is filled with wombat women who force him to eat cockroaches. But the cockroaches turn into old men who have crushes on Sarah palin. Nick incinerates.

Sita gave Liam a sharp look. "I told you, I'm not sending you after that prophecy - you need to take care of the prince." Sita briefly glanced at the ceiling after she had stared down the man sufficiantly. "We'll have to find the cure some other way, that's all."
