"Nothing, of course." Galinda said, rolling her eyes. In actuality, she had comepletely forgotten why she even was speaking to Elphaba, but kept up the conversation anyway. "I saw you all alone and thought to come over."

"To make conversation?...." Galinda sighed, feeling completely and utterly defeated. Elphaba was the first person not to love her instantly, and she was annoyed with having to put forth such an effort. "Nevermind."
