I used to like A7X a lot, but that was before I discovered music that I liked a lot better. Hell, I've even seen them in concert.

A7X's older stuff is much better than the stuff on "City Of Evil". I've seen videos of them in concert, they're not bad, but it's not as good as I would have hoped.

I like the stuff from their Waking the Fallen album better than I like City of Evil. However, I don't like their Sound the Seventh Trumpet album that much.

I semi-agree with you. I like the stuff from their Waking the Fallen album better than I like City of Evil. However, I don't like their Sound the Seventh Trumpet album that much. "Waking The Fallen" was definitely their best album. I hear for their next album, they are changing their sound again.

Actually, according to what I just read, the name of the next album is going to be self-titled and is set to be released on October 16. That's one day after my birthday.

From what I understand, it's supposed to be grittier, more mature and have a little less "polishing" to make it have a more live sound.
