Divine martyr
Dozu and his crew are more neglected and they have almost the same amount of air time. Baki just isnt liked enough by many people and to top it off he isnt as memorable as the two love birds Haku and Zabuza.
To add on to what I was saying think about Haku and Zabuza had a VERY memorable death. Baki is alive and is just floating around somewhere in the universe of the show, you also don't get to see Baki kill Hayate BTW, he is a strong Ninja but Gaara/Kankuro/Temari are actually much stronger then himself (and he admits it), so he is a back seat character. Sorry if that annoys you but only a rare few actually care about back seat characters (as for hayate and genma they come up far more then Baki, as well as the two Jounin buddys that do Tsunade's work).
