After putting her stuff away Jessy turns to see Kala who had just greeted her. Running her hand through her hair to push strays back she half-smiles."Huh? Oh Mrs. Marko you don't have to get me anything. I'm fine...I guess some water would be all right." She knew Kala wouldn't take no for an answer as it was her motherly way. "School was...pretty unusual actually. I ran into Ken this morning at breakfast. He convinced me to start taking the self defense class today, that he assists. Oddly enough some jerks interrupted it. Of course it wasn't long before we had things under control." She grins as she recalls throwing those guys down several times.
"Apparently I'm a quick learner. I even tossed Ken down a few times..maybe even a little too hard." She giggles to herself as she walks around to the counter, leaning on it.
"Fauve should be right behind me, as well as Chris...that's the other girl's name, isn't it? Mr. Marko was speaking to her the other day about a family heirloom...I ran into the two of them at the bookstore." She wasn't sure if it would be wise to tell her the events that occured while there. It was a pretty unbelievable story, but what if Fauve mentions it? Things were going to become more complicated now.

Fauve raised an eyebrow as Jessy half-ran half-power-walked out the store. Shaking her head slightly, she too took her leave and left the store. Stopping at a near by coffee shop, she bought a cup of hot chocolate and sipping it slowly, she made her way to the antique store, where she knew Jessy would be by now. She briefly wondered if Jessy might have told... Kala, was her name right?, about what had happened, but judging on her observations of the older girl, she didn't think it was likely. So she probably wont say anything either. Pushing the door open, she threw away her empty cup right before she entered.

Anubis raised his hands and started chanting. The building before him started to morph, to change. He continued to chant and soon the building looked just as it had to start with. He smirked a jackal smirk and then bounded towards his new...residency. I look forward to it.

Not more than a few minutes after Jessy accepted the glass of water from Kala, Fauve entered the store. Holding the cup with both hands Jess looks down at the water for a moment then takes a sip. As Fauve comes closer Jessy half smiles over at the younger girl wondering what she is thinking. As far as she can tell it didn't look like Fauve wanted to discuss the issue in front of her boss. "Hey Fauve, there you are. Kala, is there anything that needs to be done right away? I'd like to keep myself busy today. I have too much on my mind right now so a project would come in handy."
As soon as Mrs Marko told her about some items in the back that needed some dusting, Jessy happily takes on the task. This would give her some time away from the cash register for once. Especially, now that Fauve could help with the work. With a dust rag in hand Jessy takes up the first object, all the while pondering what would come next. "If I was a Priestess before...would I still posses some magick? Eventhough, it was over three thousand years ago? Was what happened during the self defense class part of my abilities? But when that Lapis lady attacked me in the vision...she seemed so much stronger than me...

Cruxios knelt before his master. My lord. Everything is running perfectly as you ordered. He stood, thumped his fist on his chest, and left the chamber.

Anubis laughed. His dual voice bouncing off the walls. His laughter died quickly as he breathed the words, So it begins... He then heard the priestess in his head. Yes, you do still have your magick. It is just dormant for the time being. It will awaken in your greatest hour of need. Your abilities, must slowly be returning to you. It was not that she was stronger, she had found your weakness. She exploited what was already there. It was no fault of yours.

Jessy suddenly stops cleaning the item in her hand as she once more hears Anubis. As she glances around the store she realizes that no one else could hear what was being said. Knowing that eased her troubled mind, if only for a moment. Her thoughts returned to pendant he had given her previously as his voice resonates in her mind, "My weakness... my love for you... that was it... wasn't it?"

Anubis called for Cruxios, and issued orders to him. Yes. He sat in his lair, mulling over thoughts in his head.

Everything that had happened today was whirrling around in Jessy's head. As Anubis answered in her mind she couldn't help but wonder where all of this was going to be leading them. Would history be repeating itself? She really couldn't tell anyone. If she did they wouldn't believe her and would probably think she was crazy for coming up with such a story. "I see. So then if my powers are awakened then hers will be too... at some point anyway. I can't let her know that I'm speaking with you, I can only imagine what she might try and do once she realizes her powers are only dormant." Jessy then realizes that she hadn't been cleaning much since her conversation started and gets back to work so as to not alert the others.

Anubis was becoming annoyed by his servant. Yes, Cruxios. I want you to carry out these orders. Now. He took a deep breath. I do not know if hers have awakened yet, but yes. Hers will awaken as well. She will not be able to tell that you speak with me. Only you can hear me. Unless I project thoughts to her as well. I will leave you for now. Be safe, my priestess. He reached out his hand as he envisioned touching her cheek.

I will As Jessy hears the last words from Anubis in her mind she feels as if he had gelty touched her cheek. She felt her cheeks blush a bit. Coming back to reality she hoped that neither Fauve nor Kala had noticed her color change. Then again they might just think that she was overheated or something from cleaning. Thinking to herself, "Cleaning, right that's what I was doing... is it time to close shop yet?" Looking at her watch she sees that it is about that time.
