There was another nod to the Buffyverse in a different episode in which a Beauty Paegant took place at the "Hyperion Hotel"

Hah, I do that with every show. I'll be like, hey that guy was in Buffy! xD Then my friends would slap me. D: Or they'll say something that would be just like a buffyism.

I've realized that there are a lot of people who are on Bones that have been in Buffy or Angel.......maybe it's because of David Boreanaz, but I dunno. I mean, it's still Joss Whedon. but it's pretty funny to hear my sister yell "HE/SHE WAS IN ANGEL!!!!"

A lot of times actors who star in shows have a little bit of pull in getting some of their old pals from another show in the new one. Just think about yourself working somewhere. There's an opening and you know that your friend is looking for a job. You'd probably tell them about it right? Actors are no different.
Plus, if you're a big fan of something you're likely to be influenced some in your own work.
I bet there might be a few things thrown in there on purpose, all shows have their little quirks, but it's probably much more likely an inside joke for the writers than something for the fan. AND the buffyverse fans are probably reading too much into it.

zach61092 I don't know that but there are many references of this episode of Smallville called thirst. xd The one with the vampire sorority? Yeah, that one was a hoot! The head sorority girl named "Buffy Saunders," plus the awesomeness of Milton Fine (James Marsters' char) telling Clark there's no such thing as vampires...I think the producers hated that episode, but fans loved it. I know I did.

It was amusing, last night on Bones, Booth (David's Character) was making a big stink about holy water being legitimate when Brennan was calling it "magic water". It's amusing, Booth is so Catholic... It'd be hysterical to put Booth and Angel in a room together and see what happens.

Booth would probably find some way to prove that Angel wasn't really a vampire. lol.

I personally think that Booth and Angel would... beat each other to death.

Vee Angel Booth would probably find some way to prove that Angel wasn't really a vampire. lol. No, that's probably what Bones would do.

I always thought it would be interesting to see in a movie or t.v. show or something references to one of the actor's old famous parts. Like, Bones watching Buffy or Angel on the show and being like, "I like this," and then Booth being like, "God, I hate those shows.".
Or something equally ironic.
That made no sense....

Nah it made sense.. but I think BTVS is too pop culture heavy to give Bones anything but a splitting migrane. I did find the fact that Zach watches Firefly... no wait...Zack... dammit my Zackhs are all messed up.
