It's ridiculous because Toei had and has been working on remastering the entire series; every series BUT Stars has been rereleased on DVD. And you can bet that it looks a HELL of a lot better than the quality we got.


The first two? three? Stars R2 DVDs have been released in Japan so far. And yes, from the screenshots I've seen, the quality is very nice.

I'm still thinking about getting the domestic SMR boxset, though, since I'd get the entire series for about the price of one R2 DVD. confused

I know they've started releasing Stars, it just isn't all out yet so I said that. 3nodding

Bastards. I want pretty pretty high quality episodes too.

I'm probably eventually going to just cave in and buy all the R2 Stars DVDs and a R2 compatible DVD player. sweatdrop

Good luck with that since that's out of print as well and I've heard to selling for $200 on ebay. The R2 prices aren't that bad actually since it's only 3800 yen per DVD which is a little under $40 US and you're getting 4-5 episodes per disc, unlike a lot of other R2 releases that will only give you 1 or 2 episodes for that price. eek

Look who's talking! You who says no to scanlations and Youtube videos! I'm pretty sure Alex Glover's site has just as much right to publish Sailor Moon stuff as Tokyopop does. You contradict yourself.

Arrgh...I wish i had gotten another Sailormoon DVD when I had the chance...xD
I only have 1 DVD and two mangas. Which is good but still...Hopefully I can get it online now that the DVD's and mangas are no longer being sold.
