"Somehow I have the suspicion they will already be tamed." Symph called out to her meekly, attempting to release the tension in the air between the patron and the nomad, at present he would rather have peace and quiet as opposed to a riot and therefore he would do everything in his power to calm both down - besides, he owed the woman whoever she may be.
"Are you sure you do not wish to take up the offer?" He persisted, turning his bleary gaze towards the Inn Keeper's wife - finally, he might actually get some treatment for his headache.

The nomad turned to him, shooting a glare in the direction of the patron & wincing. Her temper had made her forget that he indeed had a headache.
"If you are sure that they are already tamed...." Setara mused.
"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to take you up on your offer." Setara said, keeping her tone low & nodding to Symph.
"I have some chamomile draught in my knapsack if your headache still irks you.." Setara offered quietly. She had always been taught by her mother that it was good for headaches. She sat opposite symph & placed her book out in front of her, peering round still with one hand on the old leatherbound novel.

"I assure you, I will be fine now." Symph murmured gently before releasing a slight chuckle, he seemed fairly amused by her lack of discomfort but at present he considered it necessary to distract her and to maintain the peace in anyway he felt possible - besides, if he was around her long enough then maybe she would see just how good the church and its followers were!
"And I cannot guarantee they are tamed but I am under the illusion that they are." He added as an after thought.

The nomad looked up & nodded distantly, distracted by the muddy pawprint on the cover of her book. She rubbed at the offending stain on the leather cover with one of her gloves, managing to remove the worst. She sat back in her chair & observed, listening to snippets of conversation. She would have conversed with Symph, but decided that it would be prudent to give him some peace & quiet.
Setara put the book on her lap & began to check the pages of her book, making sure there weren't any stray bits of grass left between its pages.

"So you're returning with one each?" The barkeep stood, waiting for an answer from the odd couple if they were going to turn in the Vixies or not. His wife was attending Symph's injuries, applying a cold ice pack, handing him a tonic that she said would help ease the pain.
"Well, you've both earned a nights stay in my inn. It's the last room in the house" Of course, assuming they were a couple. Normally he wouldn't house a Nomad, but if she was with a Dhimari, then he could hardly object. He waved one of the waitresses to bring out dinner for all of the Hunt participants.

"Such is the intention." Symph replied as he held up the netted Vixies for the innkeeper to take. He pursed his lips at the strain and then offered a smile of thanks towards the innkeeper's wife who was helping him so deligently, he would certainly not forget their kindness too quickly. That said however, he was a little slow on the uptake when it came to the offer of the room and assumed that the man meant one each as opposed to having a single room between them - ultimately, he was unaware that he would be sleeping on the floor at this precise moment in time.
"My thanks for the room, Sir." He added after a few moments thought.

The nomad smiled brightly & shook her head, having realised immediately what the innkeep was getting at.
"I shall have to leave shortly, so the Acolyte here may keep the room to himself." She said curtly. This was the first time anyone had made such an assumption & she certainly didn't like it.
"But thanks much for the kind offer." Setara added as an afterthought. She didnt want to seem rude, but sleeping in the same room as the acolyte was certainly not something she wanted to do. She waited patiently for the tavernkeep's reaction & remained silent.
