I get thing like that in my school band all the time. A trumpet player came up to me after band and started talking crap about my drumming. I said nothing and help up a piece of music in his face. I had written "play it" on the music. He got mad and tried it. He didn't even know where to start. Then he claimed that he could do a buzz roll. I went ahead and let him try. He did the crappiest single stroke roll you can imagine. By that time, a small crowd had gathered. I took the piece of music and began to play it as he watched in awe. Then I did the roll. I moved the sticks from the head of my snare and onto his head and still continued to roll. He got very mad and tried to knock the sticks away. I backed a step and he lunged at me, only to trip on his own trumpet he had layed down earlier. Score: Drummers/1 Idiots/0

Too many people say drummers have it easy.

I invite them to a practice session and let them sit down.

They do something crappy, then I sit down and play an Agogo Beat, and throw in a bit of samba.

Then pass on to doing a 32nd note single stroke roll over all 6 of my toms in time to end with a paradiddle-diddle on the ride.

Then they feel retarded and drummers win.
