Ebony heard the men confront one another, their tones almost musical to her ears. She listened as they faded into the background. She still sat silently awaiting her answer…

As SlitherSlay look at the blind woman as she stared off into space, he slowly disappeared into the shadows, and walked off.

Ebony smiled to herself as she heard the footsteps retreating from her. She finally put her hand up for a server and quickly ordered a glass of red wine and some lunch. She munched on it enjoying the sounds around her as time moved slowly on.

drizzt kept walking with arlan following. i kinda want some meat right now. drizzt thought. drizzt asked "lets stop and get some chicken or something". drizzt then stared up in the sky imagining the star patterns as huge peices of chicken.

"There's an inn over there," Arlan said pointing and then, noticing Drizzt's gaze, he looked at the stars. Nothing odd about them tonight. "What are you looking at?" he asked.

drizzt quickly snapped out of it. "oh nothing" he said he then walked toward the inn eager to eat some food, considering the fact that he had not eaten in more than three days.

Arlan shrugged, whatever, he thought. He followed Drizzt into the inn. Food sounded good and he had plenty of money to spend.

On a small hill some distance away from the tavern, SlitherSlay looked off into space and slowly lowered himself onto the ground and lied down. Staring at the starlit night he started humming a tune long lost by time.

quite pleased with the meal he had just eaten, drizzt decided to continue to the tower. drizzt was halfway to the tower when a group of at least ten of koloms knights. "what now?" drizzt asked quickly as the guards silently circled them.

"We fight," answered Arlan simply and he charged the nearest knight. Their armour was on the cheap side and it was easy to plunge his now drawn sword where two pieces connected to hit a vital organ. Arlan slipped outside the circle as the knight fell and prepared to face the others.
