Former F1 Champion Nelson Piquet has warned Giancarlo Fisichella to up his game next season or risk losing his Renault race-seat to his son, Nelsinho.
Signed as Renault's 2007 test driver, Nelsinho is hoping that it's only a matter of time before he's promoted to race-driver. And his dad believes that could even happen as early as next year if Fisichella, Renault's lead driver, is beaten by his new rookie team-mate Heikki Kovalainen.

I never really liked Fisichella, even though I'm Italian. Let's face it, he's never been that great of a driver. And I kind of feel bad for him. There he is now, thinking he's going to be the man at Renault. He should have left...like Trulli did some years ago, and like Alonso did. Just freaking leave, because Briatore is full of crap and smells of garbage. mrgreen
Briatore probably promised him "This is going to be your year, kid." and Fisichella bought it. *sighs* So sad...someone should wake Giancarlo up... confused
