What else would I do with it? A flammable gas in a small space? XD First of all, I filled up some balloons and popped them with a flame. That worked out really well. Then I tried to fill a pipe with it, but it didn't work 'cause I didn't have a good enough seal. Then I took some airproof vinyl and made a Hindenburg (instead of pricey metals, I just used some good-old hydrocarbons (oil and gasoline) to paint the outside). By then it was almost gone (it wasn't a very large tank), so I just lit the end on fire and hoped the tank wouldn't explode.
It was about a 500mL beaker... that's half a Liter, which is a quarter of a 2L soda bottle. It took about ten minutes to get it all to boil on the hotplate, and about five to get it to cool down (while still on the hotplate!) with the dry ice (only about 3g, a chunk about the size of half your finger). Then again, it does have the cooling capacity of about three times more than water ice... We also poured some boiling water on it, and let the fog go everywhere. That was fun. 8P

Nah, it isn't that expensive. It's five or ten dollars for a brick of it... though you have to use it fast (within 5-6 hours), or it'll evaporate up. You could store it if you had a N2(l) cooling system, but those are expensive.

In my spare time... besides going to the lab, I mostly read, watch the History and Discovery channels, and play video games. ^^ Sometimes I write, but that never turns out well.
