Yes, people are odd. But TBP is quite different from the other albums.
@ Fuel this Flame: 200 people in a class is small? O.O That's HUGE! There're only 70 people in our class...

xX_Sugar Narcotic_Xx My friend won't admit to liking an mcr song because its apparently 'emo' to him. And him and his friends like making fun of welcome to the black parade, saying stuff like its about nazi's, even though he's CONSTANTLY SINGING THE DAMN SONG! OMG! the same things with my friends! it gets me so mad!!

But, you'll find (well I do) all of the haters listen to bands who don't know the meaning of the performance. So to combat this, i just show 'em the perf of WTTBP that they do on top of the building. The walk to the lift gets them interested, and the performance awes them. I then follow up with any video of Dead! I can find, cuz G goes crazy and the guitars are brilliant.
I got myself 4 converts that way, including a hardcore Christian chick, who said that MCR would make me wanna cut myself. But what does she know. blaugh

Not alot of my friends do that.
I either have friends who love them,
who think they sound pretty good but not totally into it,
or people who bash on them.
Like
"OMG THERE SO EMOOOO LOL!!"
Its mostly my guy friends though.
Thankfully I haven't met a person who hears a song from them and doesn't know who they are, until they hear who sings it and totally changes their attitude.

My brother hates MCR and he listened to TBP and was like, "play it again." It just goes to show that MCR's music is AWESOME, but some people are just freaked out by the Helena and TBP video and decided that they suck!! It's so stupid!! People judge them because they want to do something other then sitting there and looking pretty!!!

My friend Maile did that.
She listened to Mama all the way through and LOVED it.
But when she heard the words My Chemical Romance pass my lips,
She glared and scoughed and walked away.
it was amusing.

[.T.o.x.i.c.o.l.o.g.y.] Phosphorlyescence I have a friend who ahtes MCR, but she listened to wttbp and she was like " thats good". She knew it was MCR, btw. Oh yeah, and she said that Gee's face looked like a plunger w/ a mop attatched once. XP Did you beat her severely? xD A plunger and mop? There are dogs that look like that, but Gee? Was it back when he had long hair? Because even then, mops aren't black, and faces aren't rubber...
