I like him because he has cool jutsus. I don't like him pronouncing Sakura's feelings as such. So in the end, I'm pretty neutral about him. He IS cute, though...

That time when he was all scary because Sai and Naruto kept fighting. It was funny. I love funny moments...
* Do you think he is really a part of Team 7?
Yes. If four out of the five other members of Team 7 are okay with him, then I am too.
* What does he really know about Sakura's feelings?
NOTHING. He's only known Sakura for about a week or two when he said those things about her feelings for Naruto. I don't think that's enough time to assess her feelings. But that's just my SasuSaku self talking.
* Will he stay with Team 7 Even with Kakashi back?
I think he's looking to be an honorary member, what with him helping Naruto with his training. And (*SPOILER*) now that Kakashi is going on that mission with Team 10, he's probably going to help Naruto and Sakura with being the back-up.

I think that he was just saying that he realized that Sakura loved and cared for Naruto, as in a teammate/sibling relationship. Plus, I think Yamato's old enough to be able to tell a few things about Sakura despite only knowing her for a short period of time. I know that he doesn't know her romantic feelings for anyone, but like I said before, he never said a THING about romance, did he?
Yamato's not stupid...I think he knew what he was talking about, and if he didn't, well, we don't know what he was going to say, and we don't know Sakura's romantic feelings yet anyways.
I'm not trying to start an arguement or anything, but even as a SasuSaku fan I don't think Yamato should be disliked because of something that we don't even fully know what he said.

He never said anything about romantically. I know you hate Naruto x Sakura. But Im a very neutral person because I look at point of views. When I hated the pairing with a distinct passion, then maybe I would have agreed somewhat. But Yamato wasnt born yesterday. A girl that cries over her teammate may as well have feelings, dont shoot me, not romantically, but she does have feelings, and I think he was referring to her friendship/sibling feelings towards him. They are so close its obvious. I think thats what he was getting at.
But I will say right here and now, she may have a bit of a crush on Naruto. That could be said, I still dont see the couple going canon, but I think its safe to say it would be hard not to. I dont see her persuing it to make it canon, but I mean, he is HOT and he grew up a lot. Plus she hadnt seen him in a while, so when he comes back its like "woah" Plus she may see how kind he is. They grew up.
But I dont see it going canon AT ALL. I mean, I see it being one of those relationships that would be fluffy, but SasuSaku is more canon then anything. But there is a distinct possibility that there is a crush there. But I know Ive crushed on my guy friends before. Its human to.

I don't hate NaruSaku - I'd probably be disappointed if it became canon and left no room for SasuSaku, but I wouldn't hate it. (I hate the NaruSaku-ers who debate idiotically, though.) I probably just grew tired of all those Anti-SasuSaku-ers/NaruSaku-ers who kept saying that what he said was canon evidence, which isn't. That's not enough to really say what she feels. One person's opinion isn't enough.
I can't even say SasuSaku is canon these days - I would probably say that if I were only basing on Part 1. There is too little evidence for it, and for NaruSaku as well. If Kishi-sensei was using Yamato's words as foreshadowing of imminent NaruSaku, then so be it. But there hasn't been enough evidence of that.
As for what Yamato said, even if I still am firm about him not really having that much... um... I'll use the word "authority"... to really say how Sakura feels, he might also mean things about how much she does care about Naruto (which of course she DOES - if it were a question of sibling-ship, I wouldn't disagree), whether romantically or not. He HAS assessed some things about what Sakura feels, but it isn't correct for anyone to assume that Yamato knows Sakura as well as, say, Kakashi. He hasn't really seen the part of her which loves Sasuke.
(Erm, I'm not sure if that was an argument. Maybe I'm just stating where I stand...)

I think he knows a lot about it, even though he doesn't care too much, he knows that she's trying to do her best to get Sasuke back.

Yes...he is helping Naruto with his training...and I belive that he deserves the title of being part of Team 7, all the new team 7 ^^. Sai, Sakura, NAruto, and Yamato.

Yamato is one of those characters I just... liked. Almost when we first met him, he put his foot down and automatically stated where he stood in the team. I didn't need to get used to him either. He was just cool. :3

I honestly don't think he ever wanted to be. He was probably happy with his role as a "General Caretaker". I know I'd be happy with that.

I can't say for sure. He probably may have THOUGHT he saw something romantic, or he just was trying make Sakura realize where Naruto actually stood in her life.
And that's when he woke up. >>;
But really. Like many people said, he isn't dumb. He probably noticed SOMETHING and wanted to point it out is all.
