Everything Zen Well wearing all black doen't mean you're grunge either. I could see how they thought you were a scenester. (Becuase everyone knows Emo's dead... Except for Radiohead.) But yeah, to me wearing grunge is about picking off the clothes from your floor and putting them on again. Or reaching blindly into your dresser for clothes. wow then thats me...If it looks looks clean its clean if it smells but i like it TAG IT UP!!!!!!

If you want to get out of the emo label...
Grab ugly or stupid sh** that's in your drawers, like a t-shirt for a family reunion, or that you got for free, and a plaid shirt to go over it. And the main thing to do is avoid tight jeans all together. Wear something that's horribly torn or faded.

Cougar Draven Titan Puppy Add weed to the mix and you're a complete hippe. *whistles innocently* ... *runs away* But no, seriously...yeah, weed just completes the "hippie" look. Buy a pair of Doc Martens insteads. *sigh* I bought the lovliest pair of docs last year... I worked hard for those babies... good shoes too. sturdy. luckily I got em before they started makin em in china.... sweatdrop

Cougar Draven blue_lithium Yeh, you pretty much just wear any tatty trainers youve had for years razz Perhaps, but Doc Martens are warm, and goddamn invincible. unless you get the shitty ones from china that they make now... buy em from thrift stores. those are the real deal.

When I go for a somewhat grungey look, i've never been called emo
i have kind of embraced my inner grunge kid this year though, cause i bought a couple cardigans and a green sweater, which are all awesome and i picked them up for cheap
