Emotional Shinobi Herr Kaiser Matthelm Emotional Shinobi Herr Kaiser Matthelm Ehh, im not really a fan of metalcore. You need to die, or get yourself a new brain. Trivium are THRASH, not metalcore. If you care to debate genres with me, then bye all means, do so, but do it in a friendly manner, if you continue to respond to dissagrements in that manner in the future, it may resalt in a ban. I would love to do so in your mentioned manner, but nobody here seems to understand the "outraged first comment" technique I utilize. Furthermore, [insert generic formal apology]. Becuse, quite frankly, its dumb to argue a genre based on mud slinging and calling people stupid.

Yes, and that post makes you SUCH a better person than me! why are you here? to start s**t..? go away... we are a guild of bassists... who dont attack eachother... and I said nothing about me being a better person than you... but now that you mention it... jk the fact is... arguing genres is stupid... it's just a way to keep every one in a box and sell records... open up your mind

Feel the love man. this is so off topic time to return. I really wana be able to play bass like alexi laiho plays guitar that is my mission, but well I don't plan to be that good at least until I'm like thirty or something.

flowergirl01 shickanaca If you want some really stuff to play, try playing Cannibal Corpse( death metal band). Alex Webster is among the fastest bass players around. And the amazing thing is, he doesnt use a pick. Just listen to Hammered Smashed Face and there is a bass solo about 30 seconds into it.That is some hard and fast s**t its way easier to play with fingers fast. you can use three plucks consecutavly insted of two. its like a double bass drum pedal for the bass guitar. slap can get even faster. good metal bassist from children of bodom is crazy. The greatest part of that solo by Webster is when he first recorded it, he just tapped the strings instead of plucking them because he couldn't pluck them fast enough. If you see them live now he can do it, but not back then.

I really wana be able to play bass like alexi laiho plays guitar that is my mission, but well I don't plan to be that good at least until I'm like thirty or something. wow, thats gonna take determination and about seven extra fingers. But hey, anything's possible.
