The sphinx studies them, her eyes looking them over, and she finally says "I can tell you the key to it will be found in the hottest, and dryest heart of the caves. And it will be worth your while." She paused, and tapped her nails, wondering if the other had a question, studying him.

Yami passed his hand through his hair, thinking that his clothes might not make it to the spot where the key was...
Feeling the blue-hued eyes studying him, he rose his dual eyes to meet the creature's. "...." He reached into his jacket, pulling out the vial with the strange liquid. "....I would like to know what this item would tame, if its possible for you to tell us."

The sphinx was silent for another moment longer, then smiles slowly at him. "Wise one to ask that. That will help keep your through the heat. But be warned. Because there is two of you... it will only last an hour for each. You will either need to find another way to keep your cool... or move very fast." She settles onto the ice.

She blinked over at Yami, she had completely forgotten about the strange liquid that they had also found along with the chest. She lightly patted Yami on the back, as if to say 'Good job', before looking back to the sphinx.
"Thank you for helping us." She bowed her head lightly in respect.

He put the liquid away in his jacket once again.
Yami blinked at the light pat on his back, he raised an eyebrow to the other before he looked at sphinx, bowing lightly. "Thank you for the information."

The sphinx nods, her expression fully blank, and waits, quietly. The steam had gotten thick again, but it surrounded them now, blocking where the stairs were.

Shala'ia blinked, looking around, a light frown on her face. With all this steam, she couldn't see where the stairs were. Heck, with all this steam she couldn't even remember in which direction they had come from. Frowning deeply, she turned to look at Yami, then over to the sphinx.
"If you can answer us one more question... just... how are we supposed to get down from here?"

Yami looked about before to Shala'ia. He seem rather not worry about where they were suppose to go at the moment. In the back of his mind, he wonder if what the dragon did was wise. Asking a third question. Some creatures were easily upset.

The spinx smiled a little, and moved aside. A pillar was visible behind her, with something on it, but she didn't give access to it. What was visible now was an archway made of ice blocks. It seemed to just go straight across, yet there was something odd about it.

OoC| -grumbles about being too busy-
The dragon looked from the sphinx to the archway, frowning lightly as she turned to look at Yami. She didn't want to chance asking another question and getting the sphinx annoyed... or worse.

The dog looked from the sphinx to the dragon to the archway. Yes, there was something odd about it but he couldn't figure out what. He started towards it, smiling while in his head there were screams of some little voice.

As they approach the Archway, it glows for a moment, then seems to shimmer in the center, a bright glow beginning.
