I don't know that you're doing anything wrong. It seems like you've been searching for talented roleplayers, and you've found them, they just don't seem to stick around. It's not your fault they don't stick around. Seems like it's just unfortunate luck to me.

I'm afraid to mass invite because it might seem rude..... but if nothing else works. The system for recruiting into a guild role-play really stinks too, I even gave up bumping the thread. I'm just really frustrated with myself, but then I wonder if working on the other things will produce any fruit if no one is here to read anything.
The fact is, just the three of us, won't be able to make this work..... I can write a story by myself.... but I can't write a role-play.
Oh well, as long as you two or here I'll be here, and we'll just travel the world alone. I might have to abandon Red, as I can't play a villain and a hero at the same time, too crazy.
I've been holding everything back for lack of members, which is reasonable, because what is the point of releasing a villian to attack a world that is populated only by NPC's. We might have to go back on the theme and just focus on populating the world for now.
And I made the guild public now, hoping that might help bring people in, kind of like a forum RP.

That may work. I don't know for sure, I've never had to run a guild or anything remotely close to it. I'm usually just an active member. I'll be here as long as you are here MDG.

Awww, no pretty girl for York and Repede? Ah well, I guess that just gives them more freedom, and since they make up like, half of this guilds population, they can be pretty important^.^

Unfortunately, my usual computer has been rendered useless. I will be getting a new computer soon, but I wont be able to get on very much until I get it.

I'm seriously considering fixing up the CBH thread as a forum RP and closing the guild for awhile until we get more participation. There will be more of an action theme, I was thinking of a slum rebellion that the empire has to put down. If I put the work into it and it bombs, I'm giving up role playing on Gaia. If it doesn't bomb and is successful, then we'll have more fun then we can imagine.

I don't know that I would gibe up roleplaying on Gaia. There are other places to roleplay besides a guild. A guild just tends to be a way to have many familiar and known good roleplayers to get together.

I appreciate the support. I'm working on the forum role-play, it will be a little while, maybe a weekend or two, then we'll get together and see if we can't make something happen. I'm using wp to put it together and searching for good images.

Whats WP. Oh I bought my computer and got it running. Now I did start college today, but on every day except thursday, my classes end by 2:00. Plus I'm really only taking two serious classes. One of the two classes I had today, 32% of the grade was based on attendance and participation.
