The night the two spent together was one of the most memorable for both of them. For Jonathan, finding a woman his heart can claim as his own; and for Cosette, making love by her own free will for the first time. Both of them were virgins, in a sense, but the moment was never awkward for either of them, as the motions came naturally to the pair.
And when it was over, Jonathan laid next to Cosette and held her in his arms, watching over her as she slept the whole night like a father to a newborn baby. Not once did he regret what he did, and hoped that Cosette would remember the night if they were ever seperated. He spent so much time watching her sleep that he didnt even notice the night turn into morning.

The suns rays washed through the little window sending the warm beams dancing across Cosette's features. Slowly her eyes fluttered open and she yawned, Streching against him. It took her eyes a moment to focus and for the memories of the night to come flooding back to her. Finally she smiled as looked up at Jonathan, her fingers lightly trailing up his arms. "Good morning."

Jonathan smiled down at the beautiful woman and kissed her on the cheek in reply. "Good morning, darling," he casually speaks. "We should be reaching Isla Olividada soon, if the merwoman hasnt fallen asleep at the wheel." His fingers lazily trailed over her entire body, sending shivers through Cosette's spine. He sighed in afterthought as he got up and started getting dressed, "The moment will come when we dock and have to go our seperate ways. If we do not see each other, please remember this night as something special, for both of us."

Cosette nodded softly and lightly sighed, She slipped from the sheets and gathered her dress. She paused, mid way through dressing to look at him, her eyebrows lightly furrowed and her lips pursed into a thin line. "....Alright." she said at length as she continued to dress herself.
She drew her fingers through her hair and began to lightly comb through the knots that have formed over night. "Dont worry... I'll always remember this night...for the rest of my life." she said, a smile once again forming on her lips. Thought it sadned her deeply she would most likely be leaving his side.

Jonathan grins as he puts on the final piece of clothing; the silver heart-shaped pendant he saved from his own ship before it sank. "Perhaps we can rent a room at the local inn before going our seperate ways," he says in a half-joking half-hopeful tone. "Maybe a week or two..." He opens the door to the outside and turns back with a wink.
Stepping outside, Jonathan breathes deeply the fresh air, feeling much more perkier than normal, for some reason or another. A familiar sight crosses his gaze, upon the horizon. Land! If Kailani was navigating correctly, they should have reached Isla Olividada. "Land ahoy!" he shouts out to the other crew, lowering the English flag that was originally flying on the main mast and letting the merwoman sail the ship into dock.

Jonathan sighs to himself as he looks out over the docks, not wishing to do this, but it's essential. He has to leave Cosette and find his own path. Perhaps, in time, she will return to him. Always remembering that tearful goodbyes were the most painful, Jonathan jumps off the ship onto the dock without another word or thought. His thoughts of Cosette are now quickly replaced by another pleasure of his... drink and food. Just as quickly as he docked, the English officer makes his way into town to find the nearest tavern.

Cosette sighed softly and nodded to Jonathan as he left, perhaps they would see eachother on the island, but after that who knew. Perhaps it would be better for her to avoid him, lest risk a worse pain when the real good by where to come.
Her eyebrows furrowed softly and she picked up the book from the table. At lest she would have this...she'd read it all.
Slipping from the cabin she made her way down the dock plank with out even a second glance at the ship, time to start her new life.
