Jewel1986 I think we SHOULD start a dark type rp in the rp subforum. >> That would be cool.
Hm...darkness...
All of my poetry is very dark. Almost always, at least one person dies. Some of it's about suicide, some of it's murder, rape, and other things like that.
My mother thinks I'm morbid. >>;; And that I'm obsessed with blood. Death is liberation from this hell called life.

Ninja Jenn my life has been dark all week . the 26th was the anniversary of my grandpas death Your Grandpa...who by the way, was my Dad....would not be happy that you feel that way. My Dad was a very positive person. Get over yourself, Jenn, and dwell on the living and the loving aspects of your life.

*Sits back in her chair and thinks* A dark RP hu?
I'll bounce a few ideas off.
Idea One: Many have toyed with the idea of alternate dimensions. What if they really exist? What if one event happened with them that we somehow avoided? What if they have developed a way to get here to try to take over our world. What if they are indisernable from humans? What if these creatures are something else entirely... something... dark? What if a very few humans suddenly discovered they had developed unnatural powers? What would happen then?
Idea Two: It's 2332 and the world has changed. Technology has taken over and most humans are simple drones serving the machines as they once served us. There are only a few groups of humans that have broken free and they are a rag-tag bunch. With no leader, hardly any resources, and a very small group of freedom fighters, can they save the world?
Possibly more later.

My mother thinks I'm morbid. >>;; And that I'm obsessed with blood. Death is liberation from this hell called life. I suppose it could be, but I'd rather not die until my time came. There are to many people that need me yet for me to just abandon them.
And really, life isn't all that bad. Hellish at times, yes, but that only makes the good times better.
-shrugs- On the other hand, I do still like writing about the things I write about. It's not because I'm morbid, or obssessed with blood, it's because I write whatever comes to mind. Whatever I write, simply just comes from my pen. ^^;; Strange, I know, but...I can't really think how else to describe it.
Sara, your second idea sounds alot like the Matrix, lol. ^^;;
They're good, but when I said 'dark' I meant something different.

Poems
Death
It creeps up silently, Like a cat after a mouse. It leaps up and captures us. No one expects it, No one's ready: A friend, a loved one is gone, Lost forever.
We hurt, the tears flow, Our hearts hang heavy. The pain hammers the soul. Slowly, the sorrow fades, We start to feel better.
Then, like an eagle, Seeking it's prey - It swoops down and strikes again.
(I was 15 when I wrote this one ~ shortly before my father died)
The kindest man I've ever known, Stong, firm, gentle, always there, But I watched him waste away, Into nothingness - his mind slipping.
I remember staying at their house - His large t-shirts a perfect nightgown. Grandma fixing breakfast - Grandpa making waffles.
When my father died - he comforted me Now I go to the same funeral home - The same trip to the same cemetary - I watch them place his body into the ground.
Flashback - flashforward - back & forth, He is no longer in pain, I know But this is so hard - Damn - the eagle strikes again.
(A couple years ago when my grandfather died)

Happy happy happy, all the time, shock treatment I'm doing fine
Suck on that reaper.... I wait for you, yet you not show your face. Taking your own life is sheer idiocy, its as well pointless. Pain comes and goes. Its to that of hope and chances. The hope of something better, to strive for an existance thats worth living. I am still here to my determination and aspirations of a better future.
You know what? F*ck it....
