Again in a VS debate it is going to be brought up where is a feat showing that Character A actually lifted something that shows that level of strength. Sometimes just because Character B says something does not make it a valid point. You have to take a look at actual deeds they cement the ACTUAL power or ability and make it rock solid. Hell I suffer from this on my own Character. Marvel says Pym can only reach 100 foot in height. All his Bios say it but when you see the following pic:

A four story building in this pic is at Calf level that is more than 40' of building Pym in this pic is way over the 100' mark. But all of the other "evidence" shows 100' is his limit. So I have to stay there. Sam e thing with Captain America, they always say that his Physical Abilities are greater than any Olympic Athlete that has ever competed yet they give him a 800 lb strength limit, when he should be lifting over a ton which is now the case with most Olympic Weight Lifters. But he shows for the most part that the 800 lb limit is solid as far as what he has done. So most people keep his 800lb limit which I beleive is wrong.
First thing's first. I always thought that with the exception of that said fact that you can say that Captian America's abilities simply outclass any Olympic athlete.
Now, let's take a little trip back in time to my
Himura Kenshin v. Captain America because I remember you being there. I got Cap's info from Marvel Directory which I find to be a pretty reliable source.
I recall Cap's strength being stated as a 5 ton max press. This is still above Olympic Athelete level. After all they never say HOW MUCH he outclasses them. But more to the point.
As an artist myself proportioning can be a b***h and I can see how the image exceedes the designated limit. I'll admit I have NO IDEA what 100 feet looks like.
That said my depiction probably wouldn't be any more accurate. It's also understandle given that somethings may very from person to person if you were just plain ask them on the fly when they don't have an actual testament to the sight.
It's like asking someone how long have they been waiting for their date to show up and neither has a watch. The person waiting may say they've been waiting fror 30 minutes while the other person may say that they're only late by 15 minutes but when one actually looks at a clock the actual wait time is 20 minutes.
You can always guarantee perception is inaccurate in some form or another when it comes to art especially in scaling sometimes. Just make sure you make your estimate reasonable and that your character's body proportions are right.
Bottomline: In such cases as long as you're reasonably close.

Again some one will bring up the fact that in the Manga and the Anime Goku has in fact NEVER blown up PLANETS. This is a lack of evidence that is rock solid, if Goku did something like that then it would be cut and dry 100% unbreakable. I personally beleive that Goku can in fact Blow a planet up, he has the power to do so. But I can't say it is a 100% given fact because he never has done so. It becomes an opinion not a rock solid fact.
But in cases like this the character's moral comes into question as well.
The point is not that Gokou hasn't blown-up a planet, the point is that HE WOULDN'T. It's simply against Gokou's nature.
Again, I'll go back Himura Kenshin v. Captain America. SO MANY people were arguing that Kenshin would literally
"KILL" Captain America knowing damn well Kenshin's vows never to kill again. We know Kenshin is definitely capable of killing people in general, but is that enough to kill someone like Captain America whose durability outclasses you average man or human for that matter yet isn't exactly Thor.
I don't know if I'm for it or against it. Simply because I myself usually don't propose fights that wouldn't even being "interesting". In fact, why even propose fight without that aspect if nothing else.
In that case most of my supposed matches would be rather close 5/10 to 5/10.
I also fail to see how it would cease arguing. Some people think fights are more one-sided than other people think. Again perception varies from person to person.
Some people might say that Card Captor Sakura and Harry Potter is close fight and would produce a 50% fraction for either character while other's will claim one will simply pwn the other.
