As the vehicle barreled towards him, he stood his ground, waiting for it to stop as he knew it would. Upon being greeted the was he was, the stranger tilted his head almost as if he didn't understand. A smile was tugging at his lips, but he refused to let one show. His eyes lazily met those of the man pointing the gun at his face, and he spoke with a slightly hoarse voice.
"You wouldn't touch me with that thing."
It might have been noticed he was subtly spinning a sharp red object around his finger. A gesture which could be taken as quite hostile, or not.
His eyes met those of the woman in red and his face remained the same despite the fact he was struggling to stay so. He spoke a tad slowly, as if he was saying something he'd recited.
"I was actually just waiting for you guys to show up. I was kinda hoping I could come along."

 "Don't tempt me," Gear said, finger moving towards the trigger. "I don't miss my targets. Especially with this weapon." His aim shifted slightly towards the object on his finger as he accellerated his mind temporarily, allowing him to clearly see what the object was spinning around his finger.

"Stand down Gear," Red said. "He's a friend."
She took Zetsu's hand, practically dragging him to her APC.
"I was kind of hoping you'd show up, I have important business in the Delfos Empire, and it kind of involves all you. I'll have very important things to discuss with everyone."
"Why don't you come with me, forgive me if the Major General is a little high strung, tech people are like that, I guess."

The object to be seen was simply a single shuriken. It was quite small and had strange writing etched into it. The small weapon was quickly put away as the CO, or Adaire as he knew her, approached him.
"He had good reason to act the way he did. Who would know if I was someone hired to kidnap you or some-such?"
He smirked at his own statement and allowed himself to be pulled towards the vehicle, thought she would notice him resist only slightly.
"I suppose I could come with..but what's going on specifically? Knowing you, something huge must be going on if you've business with the Empire. Knowing them, I'd rather let things run their course."

Damian looks down from where he is to see the confrontation between Gear and Zetsu. He made no real movement or sound as he stood where he was because unlike Gear apparently, Damian actually knew the man standing before them. He is an old friend of Damian's that he has also not seen in a long time. He watches his CO pull Zetsu towards the car, giving him a nod of greeting when he came near enough to discern the the action. However he does turn up the sensitivity of his hearing after making out the question about the mission, Damian was eager to hear the answer.

Gear immediately put the weapon away, but offered no apology. It really wasn't in him. And the CO's comment about tech people made his teeth gnash together, but he said nothing as she practically dragged the man into the vehicle. He continued to hover, though increasing his altitude another ten feet, awaiting the time when they'd start moving again.

"He's a genius, so brainy I can't figure him out half the time. He knows so much it's scary, if you know what I mean. And you're so dimwitted you'd probably pick a fight for no good reason and you'd both get hurt." Quote: "I suppose I could come with..but what's going on specifically? She added the last line rather sarcastically, not ready to tell them completely what was up with her journey. She looked like she was worried about something, though she wouldn't say what, and if they dared press the issue it would be a bad mood the entire way there! scream

"Collapsed.."
The word was a mere murmur, clearly expressing everything he had to say on the news. Looking back to her face, he recognized the slight change which indicated something was wrong. Taking note from past experiences, he decided to wait until later to ask.
"Mmf. I guess I could come along. Only for you though. I'll ignore your comment about my smarts. After all of this you can expect a kidnapping.."
With a strange expression on his face, the man climbed into the vehicle and waited for them to begin moving. With the possibility of the trip being long, he briefly greeted the fellow passengers before attempting to fall asleep.

Seeing that everyone was gone, Valkiron finally made his presence known. . . to nobody. He liked it that way. He did not like to deal with people, no matter who they were. Valkiron looked towards the vehicle leaving in the distance and smiled. He switched his bag to his other shoulder. None of them really knew him so that worked out for him. decided to go over to the bunks and put his bag down and try to be gone out of sight before anyone came back. Or, as Valkiron spied a surveillance camera and flicked it of, before someone checked the cameras.

The gunny’s lanky form had hopped straight into the APC, settling in a rear seat. Without getting into anyone’s way, she stowed her over-large rifle and Malice pack, quickly acquiring her sea-legs, so to speak, easily standing and moving about the vehicle (though having to duck frequently due to height issues). Unprepared and in the middle of stepping over something, V was thrown off-balance by the sudden stop and slammed her head into the wall just behind her seat.
Once set to rights, her hand went to cover the large and rather nasty cut just above her eye and the bruised welt forming around it. Grumbling, she pulled a tissue from a pocket and dabbed at the blood freely flowing towards her eye while leaning back in the seat and drawing her knees up to her chest.
After some cacophony and threats were exchanged outside, a new member of the crew boarded, and she raised a hand by way of greeting. Pointing around she indicated swiftly, “V,” herself, “Drake,” she pointed to the redheaded officer, “Gear,” the cyberpath who had threatened him, and “Damian” the man riding shotgun.
Pulling the tissue away from her forehead, she muttered something that sounded vaguely like, “Effin’ A,” and twisted her neck slightly to lay her head down, the undamaged side resting on her knees. Closing her dark gray eyes, she apparently drifted off, assuming it was going to be a rather long ride.
