Umm...going back to your idea (the main one), what if the dice was one hundred-sided and represented the fate of the world, so that depending on what you rolled, the future of the world could change drastically. Only the main characters don't know it and in the end they actually blow up the world or something...Maybe. I like to kill off every in my books. What can you do? talk2hand
